  • Day 6 & 7... So I didn't make the goal :( I was off by a lot but I still burned more than I had been. I will definately start a new week and start day one with a good solid plan! I'm going to give it a good try, this is great motivation for me Thank you for starting this! Weekly Goal: 10000 calories Wed: 300 calories…
  • The elliptical trainer is close to my HRM, for me personally it's like 40-50 calories off...but it all depends on your weight, the intensity of the workout and the machine.
  • I agree with you on this. This sounds like a safer and more 'life style' way to go about losing weight!
  • Day 4 &5...ok so I know I won't reach the goal this week but I'm still going to try. Saturday I didn't exercise at all (well I cleaned house but that doesn't burn as much). • 20 lbs is 20 lbs!! Celebrate it! We are all different, what works some doesn't for others. Just don't give up and most importantly THINK and ACT positive!! Don't ever tell youself you can't do this and don't ever say again "it's only 20 lbs". You can do this!!!
  • I'm sorry this post wasn't suppossed to go for you...my bad...I'm really sorry :) But you too, don't get discouraged this is a battle, and we have to fight it everyday. Some days are good some not so good but what matters is that you stay on track. You can do it!!

  • So this is what I got from my co-workers: I don't know if you are aware of how the plan works now but...you know veggies are all free to them...well now so are all fruits. So they can have as much veggies and fruits as they want! Of course with this change, the point value in other things has changed. For example, one of…
  • Battlefield of The Mind by Joyce Meyer. It's a great book for any situation! Our mind is involved in everything we do and this book teaches/helps define the thoughts that help us and more importantly the ones that HURT us!!
  • A couple of my co-workers are doing Weight Watchers and today is the 1st meeting on th new program. I'll ask her tomorrow and know more...they seem very excited about the change because it's been the same thing for a while.
  • Looks good, sounds good! Day number 1 here I go!!! :D
  • I so want to burn 9000 calories!!! But how do you do it??
  • You look wonderful!! What a beautiful dress...you're going to look amazing on your wedding day!!
  • Well for me personally it has worked to 'bank' my calories. If I workout during the week and don't eat all my exercise calories, I allow myself to eat them on Saturday when I typically 'need' them because of get togethers and stuff. I've been on the weight loss journey since June 21st and that's what I've been doing. My…
  • It truly is fun!!! My kids and I do Just Dance 1 & 2 all the time...we really enjoy it and I burn calories
  • I remember losing 7lbs a week a loooonng time ago :( I guess I'm just feeling a little discouraged, I had a goal to lose 2 lbs per week and I'm behind like 3-4 wks. • Well 2 out of 3 for wednesday...I didn't get to bed early at all..so of course I didn't get up to exercise :( Goals for 11/11/10 1. Workout after work at least 45 minutes 2. Eat dinner by 7:30p 3. Definately go to bed by 10:30p at the latest 4. Catch up on my reading I have 'very important' stuff to read & I've been…
  • That is no 'small loss'...20 lbs is huge considering the journey for weight loss is so hard. So congratulations you've done a great job!
  • You look wonderful! You looked very pretty before but now you look beautiful! it seems to me that you've lost more than 48lbs...that looks like 60 lbs lost to me. Good for you, keep it up!!
  • Something similar happens to me with gum...I don't necessarily feel full but it stops me from eating just to eat. I usually chew gum between breakfast and lunch because I take a late lunch everyday. This helps not feel hungry! The wonders of gum! Key Lime gum anyone? by all means please!

Eat dinner by 7:30p (I eat dinner at 8:30p alot of the time:ohwell: ) 3. Go to bed by 10:30p so I can get up early to workout
  • This is from a previous post asking about drinking too much or too little water. The quote is from someone else but I replied & thought this might help you. :) QUOTE: Once you get used to drinking larger amounts of water, your body will get used to it and you won't be using the bathroom quite as often. I agree with this.…
