I'm not necessarily looking for a high protein diet...I was just thinking that it would make more sense I guess to eat less carbs and more protein. Thank you all for your response :D

Just curious...how did you determine that ratio for yourself?

My brother-in-law told me about it! We did a family weight loss challenge last June, his weight was just falling off and by the end of August he had beat us all!! I asked him what he was doing and he showed me the MFP app on his cell. I went to the website & been in love with it ever since!!

I'm up too...and also thinking of something to eat :P I only had 39 cals left so I couldn't really have much but I really, really wanted something. So.....I ate 1/2 of a cinnamon graham cracker (33 cals) with a cup of decaffeinated honey & lemon green tea and I have to say it totally hit the spot!! The crackers were sweet…

I ate 2 packets (8) of mni cholocate donuts with my morning coffee every day!! Also, my husband is an excellent cook and I'm addicted to his food instead of being addicted to the gym like he is :P

You know that bothers me too but in my case it's the opposite. They say 'oh just have one', 'you can treat yourself to more than one', 'it's not that bad, go ahead, come on, go ahead' and my worst one yet, 'you're obsessed with counting calories..just eat!' I mean I don't say anything to them! But I choose to be the bigger…

Great tips...thank you so much! I had heard all of these things before but I never practiced them so it's a great reminder :D

Interesting article! I first learned this years ago when my husband got a Bowflex, the exercise and diet program recommend this as well. (You'd think that having a Bowflex at home would help me to not be overweight :P )
-
Ahh thank you for kind words of encouragement!!! (we really are going to 'quote' the page to the end :P )

Well put..I agree with you on this one. We are all different and do what we think works best for our own body. I didn't make it to the gym today so I guess this was my rest day :) New goal to meet starting tomorrow and I plan to go at it full speed ahead! Thank you again for the challenge!!
