  • good choice going to work out! it's quite normal to be sore after a really hard workout. Like others have mentioned, get a really good strech, and cool down after your workouts to help keep the soreness to a minimum. You'll feel better after your work out today :)
  • what kind of kickboxing? a cardio kickboxing class? a traditonal muay thai class? is it at a fight gym? or a regular fitness gym? It could be awesome, it could be really lame. I personally love muay thai, and boxing. But i see a lot gyms having their "kickboxing" classes and it makes me shudder. The technique is so bad, if…
  • great job! It can be so hard to not let a bad day ruin your eating habits. I have a lot of trouble with that! keep up the great work!
  • 145 is a great goal for someone who is 5'9!
  • i was going to mark this a spam hahah. nice post!
  • I LOVE chocolate. anything from skinny cow doesn't cut it for me. I find it all tastes to fake or watered down. lindt or godiva dark chocolate (i like 70%) are perfect. I'll make chocolate protein black bean brownies. or chocolate icecream made with protein powder sometimes to.
  • wooo! nice work! I love the feeling of putting on jeans that haven't fit in years!

  • that's a pretty good pace! well done!
  • WOW!! Great Job! I'm impressed!
  • sure! it's super cute! i think weddings these days are a lot more casual then they used to be about what's "allowed". I think this dress is was more appropriate then the "little black dress" that a lot of girls wear to weddings (which is apparently a big no-no)
  • got a link to the article? like everything else, when done wrong these exercises can do more damage then good. but when done right, they are all good for you. I would add a caution about the knee extensions. I've been told by several sport dr's and physio therapists that they can be dangerous if you've had certain kinds of…
  • Like someone said before RICE. Rest, Ice Compression, Elevation. Where EXACTLY does it hurt? on the outside side? inside side? behind your knee? knee cap area? From the little bit of info it does sound like it could be a meniscus tear. You need to rest it, don't do anything that hurts. I know it's hard, but you will end up…
  • I hate that when i wear low rise jeans, my hips/ obliques look like muffin top, even though my jeans are practically falling off.
  • i did! it was great. lots of the top girls train full time though, julie, miesha and sarah all do. there are other olympic medalists in the female mma world. sara mcmann for one. I don't htink tkd is the art that will be her. it's to flashy and not powerful enough(yes, yes i know some tkd techniques are quite good, but if…
  • great story telling! and great work getting out there for the walk! I find myself making excuses like no battery, or can't find my shoes all the time. thanks for the inspiration!
  • i love the feeling of needing a belt! great work!

  • just add fiber as a column and do some math. as for <5 not counting... i'm going to have to go ahead and disagree.
  • I avoid shoes whenever I can. When I'm working out outside, I wear the vibram toe shoes, it's the next best thing. Just don't go for a 10k barefoot run after wearing shoes your whole life, you will regret it. Work your way into barefoot running/training slowly. You will use significantly different muscles and it takes…
  • I just gotta say thanks to all the people who said 7 jeans were their fav! i saw a pair at winners yesterday that i would have just been like "meh, those look ok" but i tried them on and they fit GREAT!
  • that's pretty crazy, i imagine it was just a case of a weird error causing your request to be done in a loop. i've flown southwest 3 or 4 times in the last few years. Never had any trouble. according to that article, they are already working on refunding them. they haven't stole 17k from you, you'll get it back.
  • Once, at i think applbys somewhere in the states when we were on a road trip, my sister's soup had a empty butter container in it. how does that even happen? my personal worst was a live beetle crawling out of my salad. i guess that's what i get for getting dressing on the side.
  • i used to love brody! but the store in our mall closed :( most of my jeans are blue notes, or rue 21. i love the low cut styles because my waist is not well proportioned to my lower 1/2 so If i buy regular cut jeans the waist is huge, but low cut seems to work out ok.
  • my family tree traces directly back to this bad *kitten*: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pier_Gerlofs_Donia
  • I find this thread fascinates. a lot of girls, who are shorter then me, but weigh the same or more, wear a smaller size! I'm curious if this is a case of people squeezing into smaller sizes then i'm comfortable with, discrepancies is brands/ styles/countries. or If i'm just a lot hippier then i thought! I'm 5'10 right now…
  • I had terrible luck with my magic bullet, it died in 2 months, my sister also had bad luck with one. I have a this one from walmart now:…
  • body by vi is expensive, but some people swear by it. really, it's just replacing 2 meals with low cal shakes. buy some good quality whey protien, some greens+ and some multi vitamins. you'll have the same effect. your plan is a good one. edit: also, i'm sure there are plenty of under 18 people on here, it's not that hard…
  • yea, there is lots of sodium, so you'll be fat the next day, but if you get a 6inch, and don't go crazy with mayo and sauces, you'll be fine. As far as food on the go, it's one of the best options. around here we have pita pit, which has a lot less sodium then subway, and has a really cool nutrition calculator online.
  • campfire pizza: take a whole wheat pita, cut it open along the edge (about 80% of the edge) spread your sauce on both sides of the inside, then stuff it with low fat cheese, veggies, and lean meat toppings. then you can either use a roasting cage (smore makers or veggie roasters work well) to cook it over the fire, or you…
  • my mom had gallbladder surgery. It's hard to adjust to, but there are a lot more lean options out there now then there used to be! there are delish turkey breakfast sausages, and turkey/chicken combinations instead of pork for sausages. the good news is, this will make you eat much cleaner! you'll be so much healthier with…
