I've gone vegetarian for extended periods of time. Giving up meat isn't really a problem so much as cheese and yogurt.

I just wanted to send you lots and lots of e-hugs and say you are not a failure. We all have set backs and I"ve been there. I once lost 40lbs only to gain 80lbs back. I'm in the process of getting that 80lbs off now and it's hard looking back and remembering how close I was to my goal weight and that, if I just kept up…

15lbs for me with one person I worked with everyday then didn't see for a while. I'm now down almost 30 and no one in my office has said anything, but they're a bunch of bean poles so I dont think they want to say anyting in case they'd make me uncomfortable.

I do, not in hopes that I'm losing a pound a day, but to make sure I'm not gaining. Some people get obsessed with numbers going down and/or let it kill their motivation, but it doesnt affect me that way.

I'm not even close to where I want to be, but, by doing lots of pushups, I've started to see a difference in my arms.

LOL You guys are awesome. I might just beat the scale with a bat. I figure it'll be good cardio and it'll work my arms a bit! In reality, I'll probably just chuck it and rely on the scale at the gym.

I have a cheat meal on Sundays, but I try to keep it reasonable since it's easy to take up your calorie deficit otherwise. When I logged my 1st cheat meal after I first started, I was AMAZED that my lunch clocked in at 1800 calories. 1800 calories for ONE MEAL!!!! I was shocked. What I had: 2 bloody marys grilled chicken…

As far as not burning the calories MFP lists, my sister hit up groupon and found an HRM/biggest loser calorie tracker thing for me for my birthday! I'm so excited and cant wait to start using it!

I make my oatmeal with hot water, nothing added. If I'm still hungry after that I'll add fruit or possibly even eggs depending on the day. The almonds that I list are generally a mid morning snack. My habit is to get up with my 1 year old, make us both oatmeal, get ready for the day, get to work and about 9:30am I'll snack…

These ladies all have great advice. I just want to add though that in that first trimester, when/if you have morning sickness and the only thing you can possibly stomach is a whopper then get the whopper. You'll make up for that kind of bad eating in the 2nd and 3rd trimester! Trust me! I swear, all I could eat and NOT…

Oh I could go on an on with this one, but my worst are probably: - ordering two medium pizzas with the full intention of eating a whole pizza one day and the other one the next -going to a greasy spoon that would serve fries along with fried mushrooms. I would order fried mushrooms and a gyros with extra sauce and sauce on…

oh and maybe a replacement for a more daily drink could be lemon and lime juice mixed with club soda and minimal salt on the rim of the glass.

There's a 95 calorie a serving margarita mix w/ tequila available out there. I cant remember what brand, but I've bought it at target before.

My wonderful husband who cooks dinner every night promised me he'd make healthier dinners and that we'd do this together. The next day I come home to fried pork chops. He says, "but I fried them in olive oil and olive oil is healthy" Me: *facepalm* I love him so much for the effort he puts into making dinner every night…
