  • The VO2 max feature on my Garmin is reading my fitness age as 12 years younger than I am. This is so wonderful and incredible to me because I had Long Covid and just six months ago, my fitness age was reading 5 years older than I am. One of my non-scale goals is to reduce my fitness age as much as possible.

  • Well, I got down to 188 (a 10-pound loss during this challenge) and then decided to "maintain."   • My current mini-goal is 184. It's 4.6 pounds away and would be 50 pounds down. Once I get there, I'll likely take a maintenance break until after the holidays.
  • There are quite a few Christmas goal deadlines going, so that's understandable. I lost 40 pounds in less than six months, so I encourage anyone who wants to try it to try it. Everyone is different, of course, but regardless it's good to have goals to work towards. Even if you fall a bit short, it's still a win. At least…
