I have lost about 20 pounds doing C25K! I love it! I saw most of my fat melt away in the early weeks because I was able to run faster for shorter periods. Now that I'm into the longer runs, I'm not seeing the inches drop quite as fast. Also - I watch what I eat. I do not restrict my diet at all - I eat what I want, but…

I went to an orthopedic specialist. He didn't tell me not to run, but to cut way back and build up. Also, he told me that more than likely, this was partially caused by new running shoes (properly fitted at a running store) and my body wasn't used to using that muscle. He told me to wear my shoes an hour a day to help…

Thanks for the advice :) I love riding my bike, and I have a feeling I will be riding it much more over the next few weeks. Taking my toddler with me in the baby seat adds an extra 30 + pounds and really ups the cardio :)

I don't think it is my shin muscle. I have tried moving my foot in all different positions to recreate the feeling, and I can't do it. The only way for me to get it to hurt is when I'm walking. I think it has something to do with a low arch for me ..... :/

I have had mine for a few weeks now, and I love it! I think it seems accurate - I learned that I am burning a lot more calories during my workouts than I thought I was burning!
