Vodka and Ting (grapefruit soda I discovered on St. Maarten earlier this summer.) Also I love Proseco (Italian champagne). It's less expensive than real Champagne and tastes better in my opinion.

I recently started 100 Days of Real Food. I switched to plain yogurt, as they recommended, but I cannot stand the taste (Greek or regular). I made the granola recipe in the book and I add that, plus honey, but I think I add so much honey that I defeat the purpose of eating clean!!! Any suggestions??

I'm in Northwest Houston and don't belong to any gym. But I would be very interested in joining you for weekend walks/hikes, as long as it doesn't interfere with my Saturday morning Pilates class!! LOL

I just got the program and am hoping it will help my portion control issues. While I do exercise 4 times a week, I think the extra workouts should be a great help, too. Congrats on your success!!

I was a guest at my friend's house for Thanksgiving. I brought a huge salad, which they always request. At dinner I had 2 slices of turkey, brussel sprouts, green beans and a tiny bit of stuffing/dressing. No desserts, but sweets are never my problem. Only bad was the couple of glasses of Proseco. I turned down bringing…

I bought a Fitbit Zip late last year because I was curious how many steps I was taking and several people assured me that the Zip was idiot proof. They were correct and I now LOVE my little Fitbit Zip. I do 10,000 or more steps Monday-Friday, but not so good on the weekends. However, we have starting a Walking Challenge at…

Went to the eye doctor yesterday (I know the doc from Pilates class), but had not seen her since the beginning of the year. She went on and on about how great I looked and wanted to know how much weight I had lost. Funny thing is that I have lost very little amount of weight but have lost quite a few inches!!!! Especially…

What everyone is saying is true. It is the combo of eating and exercise. What has helped me the most has been core strengthening. I have been doing Pilates for almost 2 years and have done more to wittle away what I call my menopause hump. But anything that targets your core will help.

Mee, too. But I don't buy many new beacause I can't seem to find any workout clothes that fit the way I want them to. I am sooooo not ready for the skin tight mold to your body tops. And everything is a tank/sleeveless. Not for me!!!!

In Houston we also have Perfect Fit Meals that are sold in select Kroger stores. It's fresh food, like My Fit Foods, but I think it's better and a little cheaper. It also keeps for several days, but you can freeze it. I freeze mine all the time. I really like them for bringing for lunch and when I get home late, it's very…
