you're right. The scale doesn't really matter when your clothes fit better or you have more energy. Thanks for the post.

I saw my aunt today after 1.5 months and I asked her if I looked like I had lost weight, before she could say yes my mom HAD to cut in "uh calm down it's only 15 pounds you have A LOT more to lose" um yeah and I wasnt talking to you lol. I love my mom and we get along like that but it still kinda hurts my feelings so I…

lol ok seriously he couldnt just make himself a bologna sandwich at home? I WISH they would skimp out on my veggies! :explode:

well start again NOW. 2 months is better than 2 yrs, maybe the break you gave yourself will jumpstart your weightloss motivation again. You lost before, so you will lose again :)

I've never heard of a gym taking your bp? is it a small local gym or something...
-
yay!!! it is definitely easier finding clothes in a size 18 so congratulations to you :)

could be water weight. I dropped 8lbs my 1st week then 2 the next and now im only losing 1 lb a week. So as long as you are eating healthy don't worry, unless you think it may something else besides yuor diet and exercise of course.

this 2 month old horse won't leave me alone!

some of the foods I've eaten lately that I noticed had a good amount of potassium in them were tuna, yogurt, cucumber & brocolli. I started paying attention to my potassium lately cause I noticed my sodium intake was too high and I heard potassium can help offset some of it.
-
good job! u look great!!

I lost 10 in 2 weeks and believe me I ate lol but I started exercising and most of it was water weight so just try hard to stay within ur calories and exercise and you will look different no matter what the scale says.

I thought we were supposed to leave congratulatory comments on SUCCESS stories not "Advice" lol if we want "tips" and such then we will go to one of the other threads meant for that. Good job girl, keep it up! :)

that's so true. I see people's diaries and YIKES I think I'd pass out if I ate 900 calories a day. I think sometimes people leave out some of the stuff they eat throughout the day? I hope so. Some of those people complain that they have stopped losing weight, I think that's when you should know that your body is in…

you're right that"s a crazy amount of calories but still sounds yummier than meat between donuts lol

OMG I got nauseous looking at the pictures on that website. I'm not joking either lol I might just have to throw up at work.
-
that doesn't even look good! what's the black stuff on the cheese? thats gross lol
-
good job
-
you sound like you will do great! good luck :)
-
yes! look at their nutrition info on their website and if they don't have it listed then go check if anyone has added it on here. But dont save calories cause then you'll want to eat something bad at the restaurant and it's better to spread ur calories throughout the day so your body can better digest it.
-
good job! it's hard in the beginning but I know from my own experience that it's gotten easier. You start to learn what foods are better for you and what's lower in calories. You should be proud of yourself for choosing not to eat it, I'm sure your dad will understand.

good for you for trying without surgery :) there's def. nothing wrong with weight loss surgery if you are morbidly obese and have tried everything or have some kind of medical problem keeping you from losing weight. Clinical studies aside, I've known plenty of people who had gb and only 2 of them who actually look healthy…
-
congrats :) 5lbs is nothing compared to 27 so you'll be there soon!
-
thanks everyone for the info! I have been really worried about how high the sugar is in the fruits I eat, so glad I found this post.
-

haven't we all been there... I can't recall being taught to clear my plate as a child but I definitely order with my eyes (I think thats the saying?) and then end up with a huge plate of food and cant bring myself to waste it by throwing it out and believe it or not I hate eating leftovers. Anyway, just remember to order…
