Spaghetti squash is not a replacement for pasta, so there's no point in tricking yourself in order to get through a plate of it. However, I love all types of squash, so I enjoy it. My favourite way to eat it is with some grated parmigiano reggiano and browned butter. I also like to take a vegetable peeler to zucchini to…

It is really easy to get a distorted view of how you actually look during weight loss. It can be really confusing for the brain and take a while to catch up to reality. I find your choice of words about it interesting - you say "I feel like I'm being lied to" by your friends who are telling you that you look good and don't…

www.1channel.ch. You're welcome.

I would rec Dummy with Adrien Brody for a quirky comedy. It's one of my favourites and no one I know has seen it.

Mine is beautiful blank white space, because I use an adblocker. It's a wonderful thing

Yes, you seem intense!

Mesha lies. It's definitely not ALWAYS fun. BUT it can be very satisfying and rewarding and there are a bajilion reasons to do it, not just for weight loss but for overall health and wellbeing. 1) Yes, if you are following MFP's calorie setup then you are supposed to eat your exercise calories back, most people will say at…

There is no reason to cut out entire food groups purely for the purpose of eating healthier or for weight loss (excluding medical/personal decisions). "Bread" and "Cheese" are not food groups - that would be 'processed grains' and 'dairy', which aren't "unhealthy" in their own right unless you are gluten or…

Not really, I still likes what I likes, but I'm definitely more confident in wearing more form-fitting clothing. I find loose stuff can make me me look matronly, so I try to pay attention more to flattering cuts/fit/shape of what I wear.

Yes those VS models are photoshopped, but they are also part of the very tiny population who are genetically predisposed to have the body/face/height combo they have. Models like them are born, not made imo. A much more unattainable look for most of us. ^ Both of these women (they are the two VS models in the center in the…

Me too. And there are a few of my MFP friends who I know I'd be worried about if I see that they haven't logged in for weeks/months, for various reasons. :frown:

Really? I'd love to look like that. You do realize that Jamie Eason is flexing and posed to clearly show off her muscles, while Carrie Underwood is just...standing there. Their legs look pretty similar to me, so I'm guessing it's Jamie's upper body definition you want to avoid? If you don't want to look defined, then don't…

But are they guilt-free???

The worst part is offering a 'sign of peace' to your neighbour, AKA 'here, please take my germs, stranger'.

Rude thing to say, but I feel more sorry for his wife than your coworker, to be honest.

Good point, my guess would be after.

Doing the dishes. That has to change before the day is over.

I don't know, but be sure to log your communion wafer!

Don't worry about it so much.

No more aspartame = no more headaches. Reason enough for me to never touch the stuff again.

Are you following a program where you gradually increase your running time, like C25k? Maybe try something like that. I've been doing it for 4 weeks and I still get cramps and stitches in my shoulder when I start the next level. You just gotta build up your endurance and cardiovascular system.

I had fruit and yogurt for breakfast, had a great workout, a protein smoothie for lunch, and a big-*kitten* delicious Italian meal (and dessert!) for dinner. Worked out great for me, and my birthday isn't for another 2 weeks.

When you eat a meal for your macros, and not for your tastebuds.

There's a woman in my Zumba classes who only wears a thin spaghetti strap tank top and shorts to class, no sports bra, regular bra, just the tank. She looks to be a B cup. I just don't get how that could be comfortable...

But were you overweight to begin with?

*Scans thread for alleged beating down of OP* Nope, not seeing it. Next.

Having a creepy blank stare while neti potting is an essential step in the process. I have a neti, but I don't do it as often as I should. I only get the urge to do it when I get congested from being sick, which isn't the best time to do it because it's easy to get water trapped in your inner ear, and when that happens…

Step 1: Get over that. Step 2: Get over that too. Step 3: Then pick up some heavy weights.

I tried it for like, two days. But I just couldn't. Its oil. In my mouth. And all that swishing made my jaw hurt :frown: I suppose you have to do it for a few weeks to get the benefits. I think it's pretty interesting and I can't see how it could really be bad or harmful. But I'm pretty open to trying weird stuff like that.
