For the most part, I track before I eat. I normally plan what I eat for the whole day in the morning so I know what to stick to that would both complete my calorie goal, and to make sure that whatever I eat will work just fine with my macronutrients intake for the day.

~1500 cals. It used to be at around 1300 but I was constantly starving, so I decided to do a 600 cal deficit instead, and it's been working out pretty well! :)

Lifting weights will help strengthen and tone your muscles, so that instead of flab, you'll have some nice definition.
