I did do it before. But not by eating super healthy 5-6 times a day. There are so many "rules" to eating healthy. I struggle with following those or losing weight. I've been trying to the first part and failing at it. But that's the right way. The healthy way. So I keep trying and failing. Is it worth it?

No it's not. I do stop and think about what I'm choosing. And that it's "bad" for me. And then I still eat it. One bad meal isn't going to make a difference. Except my own bad meal is an all day thing. :-(

I do prepare healthy foods ahead of time. Last week I made ginger quinoa with vegetables for breakfast (enough for all week and portioned it out in containers to take to work), and brown rice with vegetables and chicken for dinner (again prepared and portioned). Tuna fish was on the menu for lunch with almond crackers. All…

Kristen- I get what you are saying, but if there is no point to wanting support, why does this site exist? Why choose this site over the color or counting apps? Yes, excuses and some reasons. I'm used to running. That helped me when I was eating well and I was working out, I kept the weight off. I didn't lose much. Most of…

BMI and body fat are not the same thing. BMI=Body mass index, it only takes into consideration height and weight. Body fat % "looks" at the amount of fat on a person, not just weight.

Me too! My sister is about 5'9/10, wears the same size pants and weighs 35 pounds less than me! Everyone wears their weight differently. I know, for me, I have A LOT of muscle.

Awesome! Soo close. I can wear 12s sometimes. Not quite all of the time yet. Great job!

Determination is so important. Know that you can and will stick with it :-) I haven't always used this site religiously, but I'm trying to (again). Welcome!

You are doing a fabulous job! It can be daunting and difficult. But generally I am a big supporter of "nothing great in life comes easy". You can and WILL make your goals! Keep rockin'!

Yes and no. I've lost almost 45 pounds. 44". 9" of which came from both my bust (the fullness part 4"/9") and under the bust (the band size 5"/9"). The difference between the two is the cup size. My bra size has gone from a 38DD to a 34DDD. Overall they have technically shrunk (lost inches), but DD to DDD sure doesn't…

I've lost almost 45 pounds so far, my boobs have gone from a 38DD (should have been a 40, but I refused to buy that size..) down to almost a 34DD (my 36's are starting to get loose on me).

Great job! Keep up the amazing work!

Thanks, sempertracy. Aside from not really having anyone to work out with, I don't feel comfortable to work out around other people, even, or more so especially, in a crowded gym. Makes me feel insecure when I am around fit people working out..

Thanks! I send a request. Loners unite!

I think that the underlying principle of eating less food/consuming less calories per day is very helpful. I have in the past lost about 5 pounds per week, but only for about 2 or 3 weeks. I ate less during the week and then on the weekend I had a deliciousness unhealthy meal with dessert. Drank my 12 glasses of water a…

Hi, Daisy! I just started this today and don't know many (only one who told me about this website) people on here. Usually I keep my weight loss goals, triumphs, set backs, everything, to myself. Perhaps that is part of why I have yet to succeed! I hope that sharing will be helpful along the way :) If anyone else would…
