  • Love dressing up and went as Medusa this year... I also made a beheaded Medusa cake for the Halloween party! You can see the cake here http://cakecentral.com/g/i/2842307/ Love Halloween!
  • Well lets say according to my HRM I burn 500 calories in 1 hour of exercise. I know I burn 80 cals per hour at rest, so I subtract this (as I would have burned this whether exercising or not) to give me my net calorie burn, ie 420 for the hour. I know some people do this and others don't, was just curious as to whether you…
  • So do you all subtract the number of cals you'd burn at rest to give you your net cals?
  • Oh can I join in? I've been struggling to lose this last stone and need all the encouragement I can get, think this would help. This month I started to deduct the calories I'd usual burn at rest from my exercise calories, so all figures are my net burn. Do you guys do this? Day 1: 350 Day 2: 885 Day 3: 399 Day 4: 556…
  • Loving seeing all the pics, we've all come so far! :) This was just after I started my journey at about 203lbs. Hated having these pics taken next to my older sisters who are both about 135lbs and have never been heavy. This was me after a summer in Ibiza where I was determined to come back looking different. I lost 28lbs…
  • I can relate... I've had the, "You'd be really pretty if you lost weight" from a buy who was pretty overweight himself...go figure! I've also had, "You're a really good dancer for a fat chick!" Funnily enough this was from a guy who was actually trying to pick me up! Haha In case you're wondering, it didn't work lol. Both…

  • Hey just wanted to add my wee bit for what it's worth. By the looks of your diary you are still eating like someone who is trying to lose weight. I know it will be hard to think differently after watching your calorie intake for so long, but it seems you are making a switch in your mindset from 'losing weight' mode to…
  • Great job everyone, I tried to put pics up myself but I haven't done it before and having a blonde moment so I will do it later. :) Maybe this will work
  • I have a few dvd's that I use regularly. I mainly use Jillian Michael's which are great as you do strength and cardio at the same time (recommended if you're trying to lose weight but not lose muscle mass) but you need hand weights. If considering her DVD's start with the Shred. I also use Tracey Mallet's Quickblast DVD…
  • Hi there, I am doing this right now with a couple of other people and we are sharing experiences on a private fb group. (If you want to join the group message me and I will tell you the page. ) I'm currently a guinea pig for a number of people who are too scared to do it. I used to eat 1200cals and stalled for 6 wks, then…
  • Defo working on it! ;)
  • You. Are. Amazing!!! What an inspiration you are. Any hints or tips? How many calories did you eat in a day and did you exercise? Thanks! :)
  • Did you buy the box set then? I'd definitely start with the Shred...not that it is easy, it really isn't. But I think it is the easiest out of the 4 as it was her first dvd of this kind. Ripped is suppose to be the follow up to it, so I'd prob do that next. I'm like you 'twin', fat even all over my body. Even doing these…
  • Being honest I really don't think you are eating enough with the amount of exercise you are doing. Do you know your BMR (cals burned doing nothing) and TDEE (cals burned with all bodily functions and exercise)? You should be eating somewhere between that, so if you haven't worked it out already use this and it should help.…
  • Me!!! But you knew that already. :) Not following F2F but it's much the same (TDEE-15%). Here's to living a healthy nutritious life, and feeding our bodies enough calories to actually lose weight without messing up our metabolisms and plateauing all the time! Wish I'd realised sooner. :)
  • Hey everyone, sorry I've been missing in action lately. This pain just won't let up, but I've decided that you are all putting me to shame since I started this thread so I aint slackin' no more! :) SO I started back at Day 1 again. I may need to change things up a bit with the ab work which is annoying but I just cant do…
  • There is nothing "mini" about this success! 29lbs is amazing, a real achievement. And you have changed the way you live your life...definitely nothing mini about that! :)
  • Found your pics! What an achievement!! Any time you lack motivation just look at those pics and tell yourself how far you've come...it's pretty incredible. It's only a matter of time until you get to goal. xx
  • I was the same as you, I lost alot of weight and felt so much better about myself, so then I got comfortable and stayed at my 'new fat weight' for a couple of years!! I was actually about 165lbs, but podgy and not totally comfortable with myself, so I always knew I'd eventually want to lose the final 20lbs or so. So that…
  • Managed to see your after pic...what a difference!!! You look great! Keep it up and you will soon be at goal. :D (Btw anyone wanting to see the pics, right click and copy the image url, then past the url into your browser.)
  • Age 31 5" 6" SW: 207 CW: 154 GW: 140ish Any twins, send me a friend request with your stats :)
  • Brilliant results! Go you! I've actually seen a difference even though I haven't done it for 11 days now - I have even dropped weight, fat % and inches since I had to stop Ripped 11 days ago - especially my thighs! But I don't want to be skinny fat so i'll be getting back to it asap. I'd love to hear if anyone has…
  • I make delicious fancy cakes...which is torture when you're on a 'healthy eating plan'!!! (Facebook: a flutter of fondant)
  • I too plateaued for 6 weeks recently and I was very frustrated but determined not to give up, so I did a bit of reading and realised that after exercising and my calorie deficit through food I was surviving on too few calories - under 1000 cals per day. So my body refused to let any fat go even though I was exercising most…
  • Definitely agree...do the Shred first and then move on to Ripped, you will see great results (remember to take pics and measurements - the scale might not change sometimes even when your body is!)
  • Amazing results! And in such a short time too, shows what dedication can do. Keep it up! :)
  • Hey guy and gals! A big hello to all the newcomers. Where is everybody else then? Wonder if a number of you who started with me have dropped out or just not posting their progress... Okay, I can't talk, I started this thread and I'm not even doing it at the mo, but I tell ya...if I could I would!! As soon as this pain goes…
