I'm not sure thicker clothes is an option - I'm already quite the sweater. The tingling was in both arms. I was using the wrap around pads like I always do for extra padding. I use a Ninja blender, and it works great. I don't know the specific details though, although I know I paid around $40 on black Friday for it. I think it was like $75 not on sale. It's not an expensive one - but it has blended everything perfectly for me.

I sweat a ton too! I have friends that don't, so it all depends. I would suggest wearing some type of dri fit clothing though...from head to toe. It helps with not feeling as uncomfortable. Your daughter can definitely do anything she wants! I've always played sports and done most of what I wanted. The insulin pump helped so much with that because I can also eat what I want. It does add a whole other layer to everything - but it can be manageable.

Hello! I am a type 1 diabetic and have been for 25 years. I am currently 27. Diabetes definitely adds another issue when it comes to exercising and eating right. I have had a lot of issues trying to figure out how to accommodate exercising. Some days it works, and many it does not.
