That is great, good for you!!

Also when you cook, cook in some oil that will add some extra calories without adding too much to make you feel too full.

I like to halve the avocado and cut into chunks and just salt and pepper it!

I would say a good rule of thumb would be fruits and veggies that are on sale are probably more in season. Also, I know at my grocery store, items in season are a lot of times displayed in front of the produce section.

Right, but at a size 6 or 14 I doubt someone is underweight. Its not like I can wear a size 0 and sometimes a size 6...I don't even think I could fit a leg in a size 0 or 2 for that matter. I might be able to squeeze into a size 4 but it won't be pretty lol
-
No definitely not underweight...I wear a size 6 pants and medium shirts

Yes is it my main form of exercise usually on the treadmill or pushing my baby in the stroller around the neighborhood. It doesn't burn a lot of calories (only about 100 in 30 minutes or so), but it motivates me to eat better too since I am being active.

I had a baby a little over 9 months ago. I gained 30 pounds during my pregnancy. It took me about 7 months to lose all of the weight, but I did it slowly because having a baby is hard work! To get my workouts in I go for stroller walks or put my little one in his exersaucer/swing while I walk on the treadmill. I also try…

And if that's not an option, then just work those liquid calories into your goal for the day...you will still lose weight.
-
How about diet soda?

Instead of jumping right up from 1200 to1500 calories I would gradually increase the amount of calories each week, perhaps 1300 week 1, 1400 week 2, and then finally to 1500 in week 3 so as not to "shock" your system, though as long as you are eating below your TDEE you will lose weight.

Hmm. wrong.

My boyfriend definitely knows I am on MFP...he actually complains that I'm on it all the time. haha!
-
Carbs wise it would be the same. Calorie wise, probably not.

Give it a few more days and drink more water to get rid of the water weight!

My thing is am I REALLY hungry or am I bored? Usually I'm just bored and want to snack all day. If that's the case, I pop a bag of 94% FF popcorn and snack away. By the time I'm done with the bag of popcorn I'm definitely full.

I just watch calories for now and its working. I find that trying to track all of the other stuff makes it too complicated for me. If I only have to track one thing consistently then I'm more likely to stick to it and it won't seem like such a hassle. My boyfriend will say that has XX grams of fat! and I'm like well its XX…

My thought is...gets the job done quicker and in the end probably less sugar!

My drink of choice! Now if only bars had diet cranberry we would be in business!

I used to be the person in my office to have a drawer full of snacks (chips, cookies, etc) and people would come to my desk when they wanted a snack. There was even a point when my boss paid me to buy snacks. Now people come over to my desk wanting a snack and I'm like I've got a banana, 100 calorie packs, or some 94% FF…

Morning exercise before work = not for me! Morning exercise on a weekend = gets its out of the way! It's weird. If I work out before work I feel crappy all day...maybe its a psychological thing but if I have to work that day I save my workout for the evenings so I don't feel like crap for 8 hours sitting at a desk.
-
haha! IThat food better be amazing if I'm going to have to burn off those extra calories!

it is a workout DVD by Jillian Michaels called "30 day shred"

One week is not enough time to see big results. After all its week 1! But in any event, my suggestion is to not obsess over the weight loss...what you are doing is a LIFESTYLE change and like someone else said on MFP it did not take a week to put the weight on, therefore you can't expect the weight to disappear in a week.…

One week is not enough time to see big results. When I too first started I felt like results were not coming fast enough, but I just came to the realization that if I change my eating habits and start to exercise the pounds will come off. Also, by losing pounds gradually I think it will be easier to keep them off as you…

Thanks!! I just ordered the FT4F model. I had been looking at it on Amazon but it was $75. For less than $60 I'll take it!!
-
I would suggest once you get down to your goal weight to then look at the calorie intake needed to maintain that goal weight and eat those calories EVERY DAY.

Let your body guide you! Because trust me...after the first day, you will need to rest the second day. I did the first level on Saturday and could not do the workout again yesterday and my body still hurts today. It is high intensity since it is only 20 minutes, but if you do it, I'm sure you will see results. There is no…
