Water weight not coming off

Monday was a very rough morning for me -- the scale hopped from 111 to 117 in 24 hours. I admittedly overindulged (really overindulged) on Easter, but obviously didn't gain 6 lb of fat.
I know that it's just water, but I've gone back to my regular eating and exercising habits and the weight isn't slipping back off... It usually only takes a couple of days, right? Does anyone have tips to drop these apparently and unexpectedly stubborn pounds?

Give it a few more days and drink more water to get rid of the water weight!0
