I have dealt with this as well. Normally, I will eat something maybe an hour before working out (usually eggs with salsa, but that's just what I like). After a workout, I always have a protein shake or protein bar. I have tried other things, but this is what seems to work best for me. More protein in general should help,…

I find that I am healthier overall, actually. But, I AM cold more often... and also a cheap date (didn't see that one coming!).

yep. What other posters have said. I'm in the same boat. I have lost inches in my arms, but they are still bane of my existence. I lift weights, so I do have a little more definition (poking through the flab). So, that's something. I guess?

Agreed. Stronglifts are a great place to start! And yes... form form form form form. Form over lifting heavy. Constantly watch form. If you get sloppy, back off a little on the weight.
-
I also love to lift. Cardio? Not a cardio lover. However, for me a mixture of both is what has worked best for me. From what I have read, lifting heavy is best for fat loss. So, my routine is this: Lifting days (usually 3 times a week)... I lift, and then do 15-30 minutes HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). That could…

For me, it was somewhere around 25lbs lost. I caught my reflection in a window while walking into a store and had to do a double take.

I never log the salsa that I put on my eggs almost every morning. It's maybe a tablespoon... so not worried about it.

The best success story on here. Hands down. What an inspiration!! Thank you so much for sharing!

Hi! Two kids here (ages 2 and 4), married, and working full time. It dosen't have to be difficult - make yourself a priority. PERIOD. Slowly make healthier food choices, and try to incorporate them with all family members. I've been at this since August, and now my kids are requesting things like green peppers, protein…

Seems like a terrible idea!

Oh don't even weigh yourself around that time! I also wish i would take my own advice. :) I can jump up 5-6lbs EASY around that time. Drink loads of water, watch sodium, and you'll be fine.

SO impressed!! Thank you so much for sharing your inspiring story! Keep on kicking *kitten*!

This! Lift! Protein! Yay!

HELLO! I lift, and do a lot of HIIT. My diet has been not great lately, but I'm getting back to eating clean(er). Sending you a FR!

I am busty... so I have an Enell bra that I wear for high impact exercise. For other stuff (like water boot camp, swimming in general, elliptical, lifting) I wear compression sports bras from Target. They do the job pretty well for about $12-15.

My goal is to lose 100... maybe even 120. We'll see. I'm down 58 since August 2013. Feel free to add!
-
Hi! I'm no where near the weight I need (want?) to be, but feel free to add me! I log daily, and exercise 6-7 times/week. Down 56lbs since early August!
-
100 pounds! AWESOME!! Keep it up! You are doing fantastic!

If I do a short HIIT or Zumba session at home before work (15-20 minutes), I am fine with fasted cardio. However, if I actually go to the gym and hop on the elliptical and/or lift, i HAVE to eat something beforehand or I will not make it. I usually grab a banana when my eyes pop open on those days, and I'm good to go.

THIS! Check out kellymom.com. It is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Breast vs. formula feeding is a personal decision - obviously your child can and will be healthy and well cared for either way. However, your body produces milk for a reason - use it if you can! Get support if you have trouble - the first month with my…

I roasted mine last week - cut in half, scoop out seeds, rub approx. 1/2 TBL of coconut oil all over the inside drizzle agave nectar, sprinkle with cinnamon, and bake. It was like dessert. SO GOOD.

I have a 32oz Nalgene bottle that has become my best friend. My goal is to drink 2 of them, but I usually surpass. If it's there, I drink it. If not, I always forget.

Because you can!

Personally, my plan is to exercise like crazy and eat REALLY well that week, but on the day of the actual holiday... I'm eating whatever I want. Hopefully in moderation. We'll see. :)

My kids (ages 2 & 4) loooooove taco night. I always lighten it up with lean meat of some sort. You could easily make a taco salad, or just eat tacos yourself!
