I'm on day 2 of level 2 and it is seriously kicking my butt, but I love it! I can see some improvement in my abs and butt, but my mom said that my abs and butt look a lot better. I think she can see it more than I can because I look at my body everyday while she doesn't. I also do it six days a week; Saturday is my rest…

I tried it before I found this site years ago (2009). I lost about 30 pounds over a nine month period. I only drank one shake a day and had one of their meal bars three days a week . I only did that because I was in class from 10 to 3 and had NO time to actually get lunch! On the days I wasn't in class during lunch, I…

I walked on the treadmill at a pretty fast pace (usually got up to about 3.3 mph with a 12% to 15% incline) for an hour or two every day before I started doing circuit training back in January and I lost about 13 pounds in about a year. This was coupled with better eating choices of course. So, yes, you CAN lose weight by…

Eh... I have to disagree with you, I do love strawberry stuff, but nothing can beat chocolate in my book. I can live without having something with strawberry in it everyday, but I can't live without my daily chocolate fix. :) Just my opinion though.

I think it's possible for you to lose inches and maybe a few pounds as well in just two weeks. I did the 30 day shred back in January and I lost a couple of inches and few a pounds during the first two weeks. While doing that, I was also averaging around 15,000 steps a day and eating between 1200-1400 calories a day. But…

I'm pretty much going to tell you the same thing as everyone else. We all have days where we go over our calorie intake and that's not bad. You're going to have those days. I've had those days before too. Some days you just don't want to be restricted because of various reasons and that's fine. As long as you don't make it…

I love the oven roasted chicken on Italian bread (six inch) with provolone cheese (if I can get it, not all Subway restaurants carry it) or American if I can't get provolone. I only need lettuce, pickle and tomato on mine. Oh, and it has to be toasted! It tastes so yummy that way!

That's awesome! I saw great results with the shred, so stick with it! :) You can find all three levels posted on Youtube.

I'm currently alternating between Jillian Michael's Killer Abs and Killer Buns and Thighs. The killer ab workout is about 30 minutes and the killer buns and thighs is about 40, so they're longer than the 30 day shred, but I'm like you, I want to focus on the butt/thighs and my abs. They also each have three levels, so I'm…

I can't stand people who don't use turn signals. To me, it's just rude and dangerous. I need to know if you're going to come over. If you don't user a turn signal and you cut me off, don't be surprised if my front bumper ends up hitting your back bumper and I'm sure that if this does happen that in some jurisdictions it…

Ew. I can't stand people who spit; whether they are male or female. I just think it's really gross. Unless you're chewing on tobacco or sunflower seeds and you need to spit them out then there is just no reason to do it, in my opinion. I'm glad my boyfriend doesn't do it because it's definitely a deal breaker for me.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into it! :)

Um... I can't really answer your question, but I find it kind of horrifying that they managed to make a cookie with so many calories in it. I know a cookie recipe that I could eat half the batch of 50 in one sitting before I even get close to such a high number. Something I could never do since three in one sitting is…

I actually like FiberOne brownies... though, I only like the chocolate one; the peanut butter one tastes weird. Several people have said that they don’t like Slimfast/Special K and I don’t find either that bad. I drink a Slimfast shake in the morning and it tastes pretty good (I don’t have any of their other products) and…

I've been reading about in online since I'm currently sick and every article pretty much says that you shouldn't push yourself and you shouldn't do anything too intense. For example, I usually walk 20,000 steps a day and do circuit training (Jillian Micheal's DVDs), but since I've been feeling like crap the past couple of…

I try to walk at least 20,000 steps everyday! I'm trying to build up my endurance for when my mom and I go on our annual trip to St. Simons this year since we tend to walk on the beach a lot looking for shells and sand dollars. We've been doing that since we started going back in 2009, but I haven't been able to go as far…

Fruit (an apple with peanut butter is my favorite especially when I have a lot of calories to eat since peanut butter has a lot of caolories), dried fruit (dried apricots are amazing and so addictive!), hard-boiled egg, peanuts/cashews (a lot of calories/fat, but they are very good for you), regular or frozen Greek yogurt…

I actually haven't had any sort of soda (Coke, Sprite, etc) since March 2009 (which was long before I joined MFP when I was doing the Slimfast diet). For me, I just see soda as a drink with no nutritional value and empty calories; therefore, I don't see any need to drink it. I used to drink several Cokes a day before I…

It's a good idea to take at least one day off every week to give your body a chance to rest. My rest day is every Saturday because I spend the whole day with my boyfriend and don't get home until too late.

Hey! I would love to be your friend! I'm really supportive (only positive comments from me) and I would NEVER tell you what you should eat or how you should do something since it's about what works for you and your body and you certainly know those things better than I do! :) Please feel free to add me! :)

First, can I just say how awesome your first picture is in your profile picture? You look amazing! I don't even think you look like the same person from the second picture at all! :) Second, I don't do the levels back to back; I do them once and that's it. But, I don't really see why you couldn't do that. As long as you…

I'm on day 5 of level 3, but I remember how it was when I first started. I could not move afterwards and I was sore for the first couple of days, but after the fifth day I was fine. The first couple of days are the hardest so if you make it through them then you can make it to the end! I've lost several inches on various…

I'm a substitute teacher, does that count? I'm trying to be a teacher, but the job market around where I live kind of sucks now so I'm just subbing until I can get a full time job! I sub in 3rd through 8th grade classrooms, but I would like to teach sixth grade social studies! They are my favorite grade! I can't do the…

I take Centrum Multivitamin/Multimineral and Viactiv.

Like everyone else said, it's most likely just water weight. Most women retain water and get bloated during their periods. The same happens to me too, but it usually goes away towards the end of my period.

I log daily as well! I've logged in for the past 260 days! It would be over 365, but I missed one day by like, five minutes! :) Anyway, I sent a friend request! LOL

I don't have any pictures either; I've taken pictures after each week (except for the third week, oops), but I'm already kind of small (I'm just trying to tone up), so I can't really tell much difference between them, but today is day 4 of level 3 and I measured myself on Sunday and even thought I got another six days…

I moved up to level 2 when I felt that a lot of the exercises during level 1 were too easy; meaning, I could do them for the whole time using 5 lb weights. I couldn't do all of them, but I could do a majority of them. I couldn't do the advanced move of all of them either, but I was able to do the beginner the whole time…

I've been sharing my results on my newsfeed, but I guess I can share them on here as well. Yesterday marked week three for me. Today is supposed to be the start of level 3, but I think I'll wait a few more days to start it. My results have been really good so far though; here's what I've lost so far: Neck: 0.75 in. Bust:…
