I do much better counting points rather than calories. I've tried just doing MFP and I just can't make it work for me but I like points even is does cost me $18 a month. I figure those $18 are going towards my health and not towards mcdonalds or ice cream or whatever.

I'm back here again. I found that I'm way, way more successful counting points rather than calories but I still use the ticker on here and keep an eye on my macros.

Thanks!! This is great info! I've heard a lot about NROLFW and it's on my list to buy. I just have to be really careful with my back. I once had a free weight gym routine maybe 5 years ago but that's also how I really, really hurt my back so I'm a little scared to go at it again.

I haven't been in a long time, just rejoined this week but I think there was a cable one. I'm saving up for one session with a trainer but in the meantime I wasn't sure what to do. I don't know anyone that goes right now that uses free weights.

An ex boyfriend and I were nude afterwards and he grabbed the fat on my stomach with both hands and said "it'll be even more fun if you lose this." He wasn't exactly thin either but it was humiliating and I never felt comfortable around him again.

I'm doing WW but I'm not currently tracking here. I check in every day and catch up on my friends lives and occasionally post but don't track. Feel free to add me though! I'm loving WW these days! I don't know why but points work better for me than calorie counting.

Thanks! WW has worked with me before. I just need to make sure I'm getting in all my good healthy guidelines. As of today the focus will be fruits and veggies. I figure if I take it a little at a time I'll do better than trying to be perfect right away.

No. I'm horrible at eating protein and never get as much as I'm supposed to. Working on fixing that this week. I did figure out if I make sure to get all my fruit and veggie servings each day that should bring me over 1200. I've been slacking on those.
