So without obsessing and staying calm about it I took the last few three days from WW and moved them to MFP. What I found was that I was under 1200 every one of those days and that doesn't even count my exercise calories. I obviously need more protein and fruit/veggies but how was I under 1200 and not even hungry? I think…

I responded to the free fruits one and then decided to let it go.

They have never said to eat as many fruits and vegetables as you like. You have to stay within the serving constraints and keep in mind that a banana would count as 2 servings therefore if you eat 4 of them thinking they're free you're obviously having too many. Just wanted to clear that up.

I have a slightly different answer. I tried to make MFP work for me. I think I hit 60 days when I finally went back to WW last week. WW always worked for me before (but eventually I'd quit and undermine myself...long story). Anyway, after reading how great and free calorie counting is I tried to make it work but what…

I can't really do dance games as I have the rhythm of a stick but I absolutely adore "Walk it Out" and use it almost every day. It have me sweating big time and is definitely a real workout. I'm looking into getting "ExerBeat" next!

Thanks guys! So I've been staying within my points. I feel like I'm eating way less than I was in the last few weeks here on MFP but I'm not hungry and I'm not tracking here this week. I'm also working out every day for at least 35 minutes. I did eat my most of my weekly points over the weekend so I'm considering that to…

Oops, sorry :blushing: Yesterday was my high point day so I went over by half my wp's. I'm taking a break from calorie counting this week.
-
I lost absolutely nothing. I had a feeling this might happen because I was way over points but under calories so I'm going to do just WW for a while since it's worked for me before.

Well, the scale decided for me. I'm going to focus on doing WW but still keep an eye on sodium and protein in here. It just seems like I do much better when I do WW as my main thing.

I don't know if this counts as an official core exercise but when I walk I'm supposed to suck it in, tuck the stomach under the ribcage (I hope I'm describing this correctly), butt "tucked in", shoulders back so the shoulder blades come closer together, head held high. That's how the chiro said to walk anyway. The biggest…

I have a couple of core ones, especially how to hold my body when I walk and the dreaded (to me lol) plank which I can hold for maybe 15 seconds at this time.

I work in a church and take breaks every half hour to hour and walk 15 laps around the big meeting room or my office but I have a very flexible daily schedule and I'm usually the only person here anyway so I can get up and walk when I want. edited to add...oops, I missed the 'at your desk" part. Sorry!

Okay, so still going over by about 5 - 9 points a day but finding that most of those points are coming from earned exercise points. So far have only used a total of 5 weekly points since Monday but am still under MFP calories every day. Am getting on the scale tomorrow because Friday's will be my weigh-in days from now and…

Yeah, you have to watch out for that stuff and always double check the numbers. We went out to Friendly's last year and I checked what I wanted on three different WW restaurant sites (including Dotti's) all of which said my sandwich would be 29 points for the whole serving (it was my high point day so I could handle that).…

I posted this in the fitbit group a few days ago but here it is again! Heartbreak Down – Pink (a few swears) Drive By - Train Flashdance What a Feeling – Irene Cara Freak the Freak Out - Victorius Cast Maniac – Michael Sembello Born to Be My Baby - Bon Jovi Tic Toc - Kesha The Hounds – The Protomen (the Protomen songs are…

I do enter activity. That's a great idea to have that subtracted first. I'm going to do that and see what happens. Thanks!

Bumping this because I'm still not sure which one to choose and it obviously affects how many calories I get.
-
I know. I just need to take a deep breath and deal with each day as it comes. One week, one pound at a time.
-
I love mine and it definitely got me moving way, way more than I ever had before!

I am a church admin assistant 2 days a week and I homeschool my son. I was spending most of the day sitting with my laptop but once I got my fitbit I started getting up every half an hour to an hour and walking laps around the inside of my house or my job so that I would average 10,000 steps a day (I get in about 6,000…

Bump...anyone? Help please.

I just asked almost the same question about a half an hour ago! Looking forward to some answers!

I've been working on this exact thing lately!

Lol. I know. I rarely have any donuts these days. I actually don't eat eggs (psychological aversion) but these days I;ve been on the lookout for healthier foods or just make something to eat at home if possible.

Thank you! This has definitely been stressful, I wish I could just down a pint of Ben and Jerry's and not gain anything! I'm definitely walking as much as possible around the hospital but still have to work on the food situation. Chipper did you lose all your 57 pounds on WW? Either way awesome job! I wish i could just…

Week two: -1lb total lost 1.5lbs

Thank you!!

When i was doing WW before finding MFP I was eating about half my weekly points and none of my exercise points and slowly losing. MFP isn't working for me so well so I'm going back to WW and I think I'll just try what I was doing before. The few times I ate all my weeklies and exercise points I gained.

I'm online and have never done meetings. I'm just not a meetings person. I really like counting points, I do better with that than calories but I LOVE the MFP community and have my friends good friends on here when they'll never join WW.

"So someone on the WW message boards suggested counting calories along with following the Good Health Guidelines suggested by WW... and it worked! " This exactly what I need to do. Use MFP while including all the WW's GHGs.
