I take a break about every 10 pounds. I seem to get stuck around that time so a week off...but not going overboard with eating...and it jump starts the weightloss again.

It's hard. I thought that it was going to be easy, but it's not. I just started the paleo diet. Just start over...say by day. If you want to add me as a friend...we can help each other.

I have a cheat meal - Friday at Breakfast. I try not to have a cheat day because I feel too guilty, but having one meal isn't so bad. I go to McD's and have a flavored coffee, soda, and a hashbrown. I know that isn't a big cheat, but it is too me.

there is no reason to be mean. She was asking a question. No need to beat her up about it.

I drastically cut my calories about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I was at a plateau, not losing, but gaining. I went to the doctor to get all my numbers checked (thyroid, bmr, etc) I also went to a nutritionist. I dropped to an average of 900 calories. I never go below 800 and some days I go to 1200. I drink lots of water, smoothies,…

bump so I can find this later.

thanks, I needed that. I haven't been drinking my water - feeling the water weight. Yesterday with a big dinner and birthday cake (my little guy just turned 5). Today is my jumpstart restart!

Before I started losing weight back in January, I calorie checked what I was eating...I was ranging between 1400-1600 calories NOT ON A DIET. 1361 is my BMR. I was steadily gaining weight. So not always true that people were eating 2400 calories.
-
so here is what I have found out over the last 2 or so months. 1. started with 1200 calories. I didn't look at NET calories, just ate. worked out. Lost 20 pounds 2. started reading the posts. Upped my calories to 1400 (slightly above my BMR) - gained 6 pounds. Went to the doctor - based on thyroid, and everything…

Ok, so I ate all the way up to my net...an ice cream bar, half stick of string cheese, two ounces of chicken, and a half of slice of cheese on the chicken...I honestly feel like a stuffed pig. I am going to swear off the scale for a couple of days and see if upping my calories and upping exercise work...I am praying it…
-
Diary open...guess I better go grab a banana and veggies
-
I just don't know if I can eat anymore...I feel like I have been eating all day
-
So I was under the thought that it didn't matter...well yesterday I ate before I went for my 1.5 walk. I did 15 laps around the lake and wasn't nearly burned out...today did the same walk, but no breakfast and I was exhausted by lap 9. I am thinking it does matter...just my informal observation of my last two days.

It's all fruit and veggies...I will open my diary

Bump...please help
-
my endo told me to take it in at night. I have found that I feel better when I take it at night.
-
I too am below 1000 calories. Not because I want to, but that is what my body tells me is good. I started at 1200 and eating some of my exercise calories, but I started gaining weight. I now eat around 900, and I feel great!
-
I started MFP in Jan. I followed the 1200 and after the original "water weight" I stopped losing. I tried eating more, working out more, etc, but nothing. I wasn't gaining or losing. I wasn't even losing inches. I thought...I will just try eating below 1200 and see what happens...um, I started losing. I average a 2 pounds…
