It's perfectly fine. I eat raw oats, especially as muesli-yum! They taste good lightly toasted and then soaked in milk, too.

I like Equal Exchange Very Dark Chocolate 71%. They also make a chocolate mint bar that reminds me of the Mystic Mint cookies I used to love as a child.

This. Also, my marathoner friend suggested just jogging(slow running) with short steps placing your feet down softly during the running intervals in the beginning. This will reduce shin splints and allow you to complete the workout. Over time, you will find your speed naturally increasing. Make sure you have a good pair of…

I would try avoiding the Fiber One products for awhile and see if your situation improves. My coworkers call the Fiber one bars "fart bars" since they all got a lot gas from eating them!:blushing:

Agree: Check out the Couch to 5k program. It eases you into jogging/running a 5K over several weeks by doing walk/jog intervals. You can also download free podcasts to time your intervals. I could barely jog 30 seconds @ 230 lbs and after the program I can easily jog for 30 mins. It was really exciting for me! My…

My friend works from home doing customer service for Amazon; they even provided a computer. Another lady I know does indexing--yeah, she creates indexes from books they send her. Good luck in your job transition! I work in healthcare, too and dream to move on due to the drama and poor management--I do love my patients,…

Thanks everyone for your stories! Here's mine: Once I was on my back stretching out at the end of aerobics class and the instructor said to roll up by pulling one knee to chest and rocking forward. I usually rolled to my side instead since my abs were too weak to roll up the other way. Well, this time I thought perhaps I…

It depends, if you have a fever or vomiting then you should definitely rest; if you just have a cold, feel free to exercise if you're feeling up to it. Listen to your body, if it says rest, then rest. Also, don't forget to get plenty of fluids.

Great NSV's! So happy for you!:flowerforyou:

My only suggestion is patience. It takes time for your brain to catch up with your new smaller body. Also, celebrate fitting into those smaller sized clothes, your improved fitness, strength and stamina. All the best to you!:flowerforyou:

That's great! Are you doing the Couch to 5k program?

Have patience, it takes awhile for the belly and skin to contract. In the meantime, I had a doctor suggest using antiperspirant there if it doesn't bother your skin. She suggested the clear gel type for this purpose.
