  • This was totally me 90 days ago! i only had about 4-5 lbs to lose when i started p90x... for the first 2-3 weeks i followed MFP's suggested 1200calorie recommendations.... i lost those few lbs in the first few weeks of p90x and then changed my calorie intake to maintain. Doing p90x you will see those last few lbs just melt…

  • sometimes when you start something you are not use to doing like lifting weights your body retains water... this could be where the extra weight is coming from... you would have to eat a TON of food in order to gain that much in fat in the little time you have started!

  • i am on week 13 of p90x lean. Love these workouts, they are amazing. I will be starting round 2 next week and doing the P90x classic this time around. I didn't have much weight to lose when i started, i did it mostly for toning and gaining muscle and have seen an amazing difference in the way i look.

  • you should get a HRM, that is the only way to really know for sure which is correct. MFP is always wrong... so is the treadmill... i have never used a pedometer before.

  • HAHAHA agreed! LOL And yes i have become very protective over my food... i don't spend time weighing it out for nothing! F OFF and get your own damn food! And no one gets between me and my MAN!
  • the last poster is correct, P90x has your workout calories include in what they suggest for you for calories to eat, which isn't really imo a good way to go about it since you won't burn the same amount of calories during every workout... best thing to do is have a HRM and follow MFP and make sure you eat back your workout…
  • I am 5'2" and already at my goal weight... i am 109lbs, though i am toning now and lifting heavy weight so if i gain some in muscle i will not be disappointed.
  • i do not think you are too young or over weight, the dvds are a challenge but if you set your mind to it you can do it! you do have to buy a few extra things with the dvd's like a yoga mat, free weights, pull up bar or bands. but its a great workout and anyone CAN do it, you just have to try, it will be hard at first but…

I usually eat 100-150 calories of meat depending the kind so your meat is good. But your breakfast and lunch is really really lacking nutrients.... i would work on eating…
