If you are on 1900-2000 per day and losing weight and if you should eat more to weigh less what will you do to stop losing weight? eat less?

to gain 2lb of fat in a week you have to have a 7,000 calorie surplus. If you are eating 1,500 per day that is 10,500 per week. There is just no way that you have had 7,000 surplus. You have changed your diet (and exercise?), this changes things in your body. Also being female does not help when you want a consistent…

Why are there so many of these posts? What is the point in thinking about what you cannot have whilst sticking to your calorie limits?

never so far. Far too worried about one day turning into two turning into a week etc. I know this is something that I will have to deal with once at my goal weight, but leaving that problem for later on is helping me keep up my weight loss at the moment.

Great work, well done. Are you sure you are 26% BF. To me the photos look like you are well under that.

If you can lose the weight naturally you should. For me one of the key triggers was the fear of having to have the surgery to lose weight. This is a big motivation to do it naturally, the 1:3000 risk that was quoted scared me. That being said there are the risks of living with the massively exercise weight whilst trying to…

Do not take calcium supplements unless your doctor advises. There are loads of foods in a variety of different food groups that give you enough calcium. A healthy diet is enough for the vast majority of people.

What counts for trace calories in the US? I notice a lot of the products have sweetener, corn starch, xanthan gum etc in them. I know these are not high calorie ingredients, but they do have calories in them.

Different races have different predominant body types. The biggest problem with BMI is that there are a significant percentage of the population, regardless of race, whose body shape/muscle tone does not fit in with the BMI scale. This causes two problems, for those who are healthy whilst not conforming with the scale they…

All it does it work out your calorie deficit that and m=multiply it by 5 weeks and say how much that would change your weight. It is only as accurate as the information you put in, the consistency of your days and how normal you are.

Fat can go down to between 20g and 30g. Most protein levels quoted are very high for those who are not body building. 0.7g/1 lb LBM is more than enough for most people. From wikipedia The American and Canadian guidelines recommend a daily protein dietary allowance, measured as intake per kilogram body weight, is 0.8…

When I tracked calories in and calories out then worked out predicted weight loss it was accurate within 10%. There are some exceptions such as elliptical but it is a really good start.

That's 4mph, somewhere between a brisk walk and a jog according to the exercise list. Everybody is different, so long as it gets you slightly out of breath it and you can do it for 30 minutes without causing yourself injuries it is a good exercise for you.

I do at the moment, when I hit my goal weight I plan to diet 4 or 5 days a week and relax at the weekend.

to lose 10lb in a month you need to rank up 35,000 calorie deficit. That is just over 1000 per day, any cheat days will condense this down. If its only 1 month you are interested in you should be able to forgo cheat days for those 30 days. As for exercise it depends on how you feel and what you can fit in. I found 3 days…

I am surprised that people who cannot be bothered to look up old posts that go through this 100 times before think that those who get up and moving doing cleaning should not count it as exercise
-
I find eating it with a spoon does not add too many calories to it.

ask him to walk a mile in your shoes to understand what you are doing. If he is up for it weigh him, take measurements, look up his BMI and BF%age to show him where he is, take him on a work out and eat a day of a diet.

The reason why obese people often put back on weight after weight loss has a lot more to do with the fact that they were obese before hand. Although they have had a moment of enlightenment they have a predisposition for overeating and under exercising. There is far too much focus on what people are doing in the very short…
