Why would you not get results "starving yourself". If you have 150 (or so) grams of protein and adequate calcium, vitamins etc in the 1200 calories, which is possible, why would your body go for muscle as a source of energy when there is a lot more efficient source of energy in fat plus your muscles have got the protein…

I don't know it and I don't care about it at the moment. I eat enough to give me the energy to do the work outs I do and the nutrition my body needs. I am losing weight without caring about it so I don't see why I should care about it until I get close to maintenance.

I did not see any point in your post that said people put down others who do not fit into their preferred body shape, only they champion that shape. From what you have posted it seems like you are reading beyond what is written and extrapolating that into a personal put down.

Weight lifting does not burn that many calories directly, but a greater % muscle will mean that you will burn more calories doing activities (or so I have been told)

500g Cottage cheese and 2 beaten eggs = about 475 calories so half = 240ish calories. Had a look at your diary, is it 500g or 300g of cottage cheese?

Some of my carbs are low and some are high. The potatoes are stored in a cupboard beneath the work top and the baked beans are stored in the wall cupboards.

I have been drinking 2-6 cups of black coffee almost every day this year (since I started my weight loss). Not an in depth study but I would say it does not hinder weight loss.
