Well let's see. First you get volume of a sphere by: v = 4/3 * π * r(cubed) Then divide that by 2 since you're really talking about a hemisphere. = ??? ... lots

Awesome info! Thanks for the write-up! I was all signed up & ready for one last year & then got horribly sick a couple days before the race, was so bummed! I look forward to doing one soon. I'm doing a Spartan Race (only 4 miles) in a couple weeks. I'm psyched!

Well, front levers, but not front lever pullups... yet. For now I can hold a good lever for about 5 seconds, then I just do some up & downs to lever position.

In addition to heavy compound lifts, which will work your core, I like to throw in some toe-to-bar leg raises, levers, and dragonflags. Just one set of 5 or 6 dragonflags leaves my abs in pain for a few days.

Yes, all the squats done before moving on. One concept of this program is to get plenty rested between sets before attempting your next set. I don't have a problem w either, except in 1 case. Some chick accepted ev1, then promoted voting for her on some site to get her in some pictorial deal or sumthn, then right after the voting she cuts all the supposed guy friends - that was kinda cheap :grumble:

M/38/147 Been a while since doing bodyweight only, but last count was 25 CU/20 PU. I'm doing em with weight now in pursuit of a true one-handed CU. The theory is that once you get to lifting about 70% of your bw, you should be close. I'm pulling up between 70-80 lbs now (about 54%), so getting kinda close.
