  • I do grocery shopping once a week and always start from the fruit and veg. I see if anything good is on offer and try to plan meals from that. I then buy the 'bread' of the week (wholemeal toast or rye or pitas... etc) and move to the peanut butter section, naturally. Dairy and eggs are next. I only buy meat and fish when…
  • "Steak days are not only helpful in Phase 3 but also in Life as needed. " Is this meant to be general advice or...? lol

  • I'm Elena, been here for 2 years now. I just came back from a summer of constant binge eating and currently able to say that I have recovered from my ED. I love Supernatural, Orange is the new black, HP, Breaking Bad.... NETFLIX in general haha :) I am doing my Masters in Architecture and love to dance. I am 5'7.3" and…
  • Nut butters have really good fats for you. Fats are often seen as the devil in weightloss but it's only due to their higher caloric content. Do you need 2 tablespoons of nut butters? What do you eat them with? If that's the only thing you eat for breakfast and it's in within your caloric goal I don't see it as a problem.…
  • Same thing happened to me today! Stepped on the scales suddenly I weigh 152lbs. Step again I weigh 146lbs. I trust the second one because it stays the same no matter how many times i go up or where I move it and it is exactly in line with my chemists' digital scales (I weighed myself during the weekend) but why the first…
  • So healthy, looks really yummy :)
  • wow that looks amazing! :) Here's my snack from earlier. Looks pretty plain but I love samphire to the point I would have a whole plate of it with olive oil and lemon.
  • maybe you re getting a lot closer to your goal weight? During my initial 30lbs loss last year I would lose about 2lbs a week but now I only weigh 146lbs (compared to 170lbs+) and for me 1lbs/week is actually amazing. Try the losertown weightloss calculator to see how long is should be roughly taking you based on the…
  • 1 hour of running is like 700+ calories for me according to my Polar hrm. Not that I run that long usually anyway. Insanity burns around 1000 calories/session but it's super hard and for me is hard to do it every day so I don't follow the program, I just do it occasionally.
  • I really wanna weigh myseeeeeeeeeelf and it's been 4 days since my weight in I posted here lol
  • Y U M samphire?

  • Congratulations that is truly inspiring! You look fantastic, so much younger as well. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and have recovered from body image related depression too and an eating disorder. It is really motivating to see you make it, as I literally went down the hill after being diagnosed with PCOS last summer.…

  • I have PCOS too, last year it drove me crazy in more than one ways :P I put on weight cause I was at the point I was hungry every single minute of the day as my hormones were literally all over the place. I would shout at my boyfriend one minute, then be happy then cry... it was insane. I was really worried I would get…

  • OMG that period thing absolutely freaked me out. You would think period stuff is basically common sense, but no you have to have idiots re-invent the wheel and tell you things that sound absolutely medieval. I don't understand why we are so obsessed as a society with following weird/restrictive diets. Why do we feel the…

  • Figs, almonds and dark chocolate or oatcakes & almond butter. A banana and peanut butter or an apple with peanut butter mixed with a tiny bit of greek yoghurt. A bigger snack can be oats + greek yoghurt + berries (other fruits are nice too) + a teaspoon of honey, you can also add peanut butter. Dried fruit is also nice but…
  • When you put it like that it is A LOT of motivation O_O I might write this and put it on my wall or something, it's too good! Also, I was reading on Kayla Itsines' guide and she only allows 1 cheat gap which can be up to 30-45 minute window which doesn't allow for too much indulging and I think it's a pretty good way to…
  • I do tend to go over a lot over the weekends and it's mainly because I spend them with my boyfriend (we live in different cities 7-8 hours apart) or go out for dinner a lot with friends and feel like I need to treat myself all the time. It's a horrible habit and it does get out of hand for me. I never log anything I eat…
  • Exactly this :)

  • Lost almost 30lbs so far (13kg) and I am working towards hitting my goal which is 128lbs. I am not in a hurry, just want to be healthy and happy before everything else :) Previously I have had a horrible relationship with food, I kept losing and gaining weight and was depressed and had an ED when I was 18 but I have…
