Kevin, I found it to be super easy. This is the recipe I used, except, I used lemon juice, rather than lime. http://www.ourpaleolife.com/2013/02/paleo-lime-mayo/ This is the hand blender I used. I got it from Wal Mart. It worked much better than my Ninja.…

Yea, tuna should be fine. Unless it's some weird tuna. Be really careful with condiments. Have you made mayo before?

For anyone that needs some new recipes check out some of my favorites. Most of the time, you can find Paleo recipes, and they'll be Whole30. You have to watch out, though, as some of them use honey, sweeteners, and other minor non-Whole30 things. http://againstallgrain.com/ http://paleomg.com/ http://nomnompaleo.com/…

Cool. I was planning on not doing this, because of current stresses in my life, and upcoming events, but I just thought "Screw it, it's not a challenge, if it's not challenging!" Hopefully I can stick with it!
-
Is there any way we could make that a private group? I'd feel much more comfortable posting that way.
-
Carol, you didn't mention the scale. Are you weighing, this time? Also, I think we should get a Facebook group going, so JT can join in. What would everyone think about starting a group specifically for this challenge?
-
John, I'd be in!

Chris, I've heard that the reason you should split Brussels sprouts, is because they release some kind of gas when cooked, and it gets trapped in between the leaves, if left whole. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try them.

Thanks, Heron. Jen, our Wal Mart recently put out the landscaping stuff in the parking lot, which means that Spring has arrived!
-
John, great job! I've never smoked, so I don't know first hand how it is, but I'm sure it's a tough road, but we all know you'll get through it. Heron, that's a ton of fur! I thought it was snow, for a second! Also, could you post your recipes in the Healthy Recipes thread, so they're all in one place? Whole30 update: I…

Well, I failed my Jaunt challenge.... :( I just haven't been feeling it the last week or so, so I didn't make it in time. I think I was at 27 miles.

That's great! I don't remember my exact starting weight, but I lost right at 15lbs, too. Feeling great! I went off course a little over the weekend, but I will continue to eat this way, for a while. I think it was really what I needed to get me back on track. My will power has been so strong, these last few weeks, and I'm…

I made some super yummy Paleo Buffalo Chicken Pasta! I'll post the recipe, later.

Mark, if gas isn't available where you're moving, my uncle built a house a few years ago, and he put in a stove that runs on propane. Not the big tanks you have in the yard, but there's a bottle under his cabinet. I don't know if it's a modification, or a factory feature, though.

Mark, CZ is introducing a 1911 this year. Maybe you should pick one up to calm the tension! I feel like it's been a while since I posted... I've been doing well. Still truckin along on the Whole30. I had slow cooker pork loin over mashed butternut squash, today. Man, is butternut squash filling! I didn't even finish my…

Thanks for bumping, Carol! I was just about to post here, anyways. I tried this one today. It was really good! I would probably cut the almond milk back, a little, next time. It was a little too runny. I would also recommend that you make sure to soak the nuts for a good while. Mine were still pretty crunchy. I put them to…

Jen, I just went on a completely unintentional 25 hour fast. I was pretty hungry at about 10 this morning, but I don't normally eat until about 1 on Fridays, because I work half a day, so I just wait 'til I get home. I needed something to tide me over, so I drank a cup of coffee. I ended up getting home at about 2, then I…

Kevin, like I said, I read American Assassin first, and it was amazing, so I researched it and started reading Term Limits, immediately. I definitely noticed what you're saying about his changing style and knowledge. Especially going from his latest (at the time) to his first, back to back. I guess a lit changed in those…

Markd, I had seen a book in a store once, and I forgot what it was called. When you mentioned Vampire Earth, that is definitely it! Thanks for reminding me. I had first seen the Winter Duty book, and would have picked it up, but I looked it up and realized that it was pretty far into the series. Has anyone read any of…

Heron, coffee is allowed. I'll drink a cup occasionally, but since I've been eating cleaner, I'm not as tired as I used to be, throughout the day. I used to drink at least 2 cups a day, because I "needed" it, now, it's more like 2 cups a week, if that. I did like that, also.

World War Z was pretty good. It took me a few chapters to figure out what the heck was going on, but it's basically a reporter interviewing people after the invasion (and ensuing collapse) about their stories during. Each chapter is a new storyteller, and it's structured to where they are in chronological order. I should…

I've definitely had those dreams! But, I'm not an elite operator, either. Markd, I think the idea is to simulate the colors of the setting sun to get you into the dawn mood, and help your body prepare for sleep.

Arturo, I am not going to SHOT show, unfortunately. I've been getting a headache around 8-8:30 each morning for the last week. It's odd for me, because I don't usually get headaches. I don't know what part of the Whole30 it could be, but I can say that's probably the cause. It could be something to do with breakfast. I…
