Thanks all. Reading and taking advice. Low sodium sargento, stronger cheeses like swiss and blue, hummus and avocado on my shopping list. Actually did not know there was a low sodium option in cheese. Have never eaten much avocado, don't know why, never ate it as a child I guess.:smile: :love:

Thanks, needed that, shear brillance. I'm just off back-to back 3000-4000 calorie days. Bumping this for a much need nudge from time to time. I pledge to take this as a cue to be kinder to my body. Really, WHY do we do it to ourselves?

Just started looking at that. Mostly good I think, but some days quite high. Never knew cottage cheese was so high. That's one of my favorite diet foods. :(

Bump. I have a ton I them growing in the garden and didn't know what to do with them when they are ready. The garden and the eggplant was a first time thing. Great ideas here. :) I use the recipe above and then freeze. Have ready for eggplant parmesan all winter long. Or just reheat and tastes as good as day I first made…

Slice, rinse with water, shake in italian bread crumbs, put on baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and bake. 350 until done. Oh and turn once half way through. Yum and lower cal.
