Mine is lift weights......heavy :)

I lost alot of fat on Body For Life. I only did the lifting programme not the diet. Its a nice basic programme for those starting out. Im now lifting heavy using less reps 5x5 or 4x8. stuf to the I would recommend you drop your reps to perhaps 10 or less and up that weight girlfriend!

If Im squatting using dumbells I place some barbell plates under both feet so my heels are raised. Helps with form and I can go alot lower

I have had an FT7 for about four months but this past week it has been playing up. When I start the HR reading is very high and it then bounces all over the place. Will look at replacing the batteries before I really panic lol
-
Im quite regular too I eat alot of vege but I find a good hard cardio workout really cleans the old system out.
-
Yes! I bumped my cal intake on lifting days and usually take on board extra protein.

Legal drinking age in New Zealand is 18. When I go out for drinks the amount I drink and what I drink would never fit into my macros, but to limit it I tend to go for a hard cardio session the day of when Im going out. Its all about the eating as well, do you eat well the day after a night out? It all adds up.

I eat the same things day in and day out but sometimes might change things up on the odd weekend.

Get a food scale and weigh all your food including milk, sauces, spreads. Ive started to measure condiments and it's making a huge difference in the waist line
-
I drink about 4 litres a day. I really enjoy my first glass of water when I roll out of bed. It just seems to revive me and gives me a boost becuase Im probably dehydrated lol

Im a heavy lifter and no longer weigh myself. The number on the scale was doing my head in when the photos I took monthly showed a vast difference in shape for the better. I would definetly recommend that you lift but instead of using your scale take measurements and progess pics. You wont regret it

Same here, makes me want to eat everything greasy the day after. I have made small changes, Im making home made burgers minus the bun. So far so good.
-
I make a cup of coffee with a tiny slosh of milk. Works wonders!
-
Well done on your progress! You look awesome The only pic of my progress so far from january the 2nd is my profile pic. Result of heavy lifting. Im on my second programme now so doing split days 5-8 reps
-
I do a hard cardio session the morning of the night Im going out and then I try and eat properly the next day if Im hungover cause its usually while Im hungover than I eat everything and anything in arms reach. Remember, everything in moderation.......
-
Yep but im burning 500 plus when Im sometimes eating between 1600-2000 cals. Somtimes I'll eat back the whole lot or just half.
-
1600 on non lifting days 2000 on lifting days 5ft3"

I usually eat it and then log it. However last night I was craving chocolate didnt have any so had a cup of tea with a tiny tiny amount of sugar and it worked a treat :)

Thanks for your post. I tried BFL threeish years ago only did the lifting programme and gained great results after 12 weeks. Then I fell off the wagon as I injured myself and did nothing much at all for a year and a half so all my hardwork turned to mush. I agree it is a great prgramme especially for those that are…

I went on one a few years ago, Never again I had some awful side effects: dry mouth, racing heart, headaches, insomnia, high blood pressure. Decided I would rather be fat than end up dead or have a stroke...... Ive decided to be patient this time around with eating healthy and burning over 500 cals a day
-
Coffee?
-
Im an egg person.....Two hard boiled eggs and wholemeal sandwich thins. Keeps me full sometimes until lunchtime on non lifting days....Lifting days Im usually after a morning snack afterwards.
-
Might add that into my progress pics in 12 months time lol

Haha, that is pure inexperience for you. Feels weird standing in front of the mirror trying to press the button with your thumb whilst striking a pose. I may as well of been doing a handstand at the same time hence why I only took one pic hehe
