If they ask for support again, ask them how it is they want you to support them. Make them be specific. And be honest as to wether or not you are able to support them. It is easy for them to say I am going to eat right can you help me? But you need to ask them how is it you can help them eat right? I had the same kind of…

What a lot of people do not realize is that a salad can have more that 1200 calories. It is also amazing the reaction people have to surgery. Good luck and keep your head up.

I have watched the boot camp at the gym I belong to. I am just not sure I am capable of doing it. But I think I will give it a try and see how I do. Thanks.

When my husband had emergency triple bypass (due to genetics). His doctor said that the fact that he was physically fit played a great part in his record book recovery. Seeing just how hard this surgery is on a body first hand was truly and eye opener for me. I am far from where I need to be but I want it to be a life time…

Thanks, I now have a few more ideas on what to make for lunches.

I am just starting. Please add me. And forgive me as I am just starting and have to work hard on my eating right.

I have at least 40 to lose. I have not really set a final goal yet. 40 lbs would put me around 150. when I get there I will decide how I feel and look, then I will decide if I want to go lower. I am not ready to set goals that are too far away as it make me freak out a little. Please ad me.

Great job on your weight loss. I have to say that before I started losing weigh I never thought of myself as fat or over weight. Even though when I looked in the mirror and see how I look or to know that I was wearing a size 20. Now that I have lost a few pounds I feel fat, I think I look fat. Our minds just mess with us.…

I had my lap band a little over a year ago. I am trying to get back to logging every day. I have been at the same weight for about 5 or 6 months. So I really have to start logging and increasing and changing my exercise. Please add me.

The instructor in my spin class has told us that our set should be level to you hip bone when you stand next to the bike.

I am with you 100%. Motivation is coming back slowly. But having a hard time with food. Dr just had me change what I am eating. This really frustrates me. I have 2 Dr's and a nutritionist telling me different things. So add that to the list of making this hard for me.:indifferent:

What an inspiring story. Please add me as a friend. I need some support.

I agree. He would be going. Does not sound like he is going to give you the support you need to succeed.

I will turn 42 next month. Still have about 45 lbs to go. Add me if you like.

I have learned that I eat way more calories than I ever burned. I have gotten much better at making sure I move more. Still not always the best when it comes to eating but better.

I love my fit bit. I really like that I can look at how active I was and to see how many steps I have taken. Makes it easier for me to know that I still have to walk after work instead of just sitting in front of the tv. I am one of those people who need a visual to know what I still need to do. Look at all of your options…

I will be watching for your posts. Congrats on finding the thing that makes it click. That is the part that seems to be the mystery to most of us. I am not by any means dead on when it comes to eating right and exercising like I should but I am keeping steady.

I am not looking at it as starting over but picking up where I left off. I am trying new healthier recipes and learning more about nutrition. WE can do this. I am in more control of myself in the last year than I have ever been.
