So far I’m under my calories for the day. I did CrossFit this morning. It was a pretty brutal class. 400m sandbag carry, followed by 8 rounds of kettle bell swing, wall balls, burpees, and a .25 mile run. What’s everyone’s bigger issue, meeting your calorie deficit or meeting exercise goals? I personally am the worst at meeting my calorie deficit. If I don’t have a loss, that’s why. I tend to go hard on the exercise to make up for it.

I stayed under my calories most days using MFP and ran/walked on the treadmill 3-5 times a week and lost 30+ lbs. The treadmill was the only form of exercise that I used. I gained some back a year later but I'm back down again. This time I run outside instead of using a treadmill. Try the c25k program. It worked for me.

I started the c25k program at 12 min/mile in February. If running outside on the sidewalk I do a 5k at about 11 min/mile and I can do a 5k on a track at 10 min/mile. I just let my body tell me how fast I can go. If I can't take a deep breath, I am going to fast.
