When I started working out, four months ago, it took me over 22 minutes to walk my mile. That was 2 months after my surgery. My goal was to get it down to 15 minutes. Today I did it!!!   I am SO proud of myself for keeping at it and meeting my goal! Guess I have to find a new one!

Please find someone to talk to about all of this. If you're not ready to get your degree, don't worry about it right now. You have a lot on your plate and that seems to be stressing you out and causing you grief and guilt and you don't need that. You need to focus on yourself and your baby. Talk to your mom and tell her…

Welcome and good luck! How did you make it your homepage? I'm kind of a computer dunce!

OMG! You really need some you time.I agree with getting more sleep. I can't even think about the gym without 7 hours of sleep. You can break your workouts up into 10-15 minutes here and there, but as a mother, I have come to LOVE my gym time in the morning. Sit down with your hubby and figure out sometime that he can take…

I knew those things were a bunch of rotten liars!! Good work!!! Congratulations on the weight loss and not letting that lying scale get you down! WOO HOO!!!!

My goodness, eat something!

My friend has the same problem. She uses baby powder on the really greasy days. I don't know how well it works, but she swears by it. Even keeps it in her purse!

Excellent idea. I've been doing that since the beginning of the year and it has saved me a lot of money. I do the bulk of my shopping for 2 weeks and spend around $300 every two weeks for a family of four. We buy all of our beef and pork from a local farmer and keep it in the freezer, so we don't have to buy meat and that…

13 lbs lost. Reached healthy BMI.

I know! The thing that kills me is how they show pants sizes. I'm sorry, but I've recently lost 2 pants sizes and it looks nothing like the difference they show on tv.

I can't believe it. I've gotten them zipped before, but this is the first time I've actually been comfortable in them. I'm going out tonight to see an old friend and I'm taking these old friends with me!!!!

It's a $30 difference.

Sorry, they cost about $15.

Both the ball and the bands came with an instruction book and a dvd. As for staying on the ball, start out with it not so full of air, get used to the exercises and inflate it as your comfort level increases.

I have found that it helps me to take a break on Thursdays and Sundays. I still walk or do my calisthenics on one of those days to burn some calories, but I have found that to help. Also it's easier to get back to it after only one day off.

Hi! I'm pretty new to this exercise stuff, but my physical therapist gave me a list of things to do for my core, to help with back pain. I love my exercise ball! There are so many exercises to do at home, crunches, reverse sit ups, leg lifts, side crunches, to name a few. I also got some resistance bands and saw results…

There are other ways to get calcium and protein. I love cheese but not the calories so I limit how much I eat and have cut it out of a lot of my recipes. If you want to stay away from the fat, don't eat it. Low fat cottage cheese has plenty of protein and calcium and there's always The Laughing Cow!

My favorite thing recently has been an egg sandwich with laughing cow cheese on a high fiber, whole grain english muffin and an apple.

My weigh in is this morning and I was kind of dreading it a litlle bit because I went over on calories a couple days last week. The scale at the gym said I lost 4 pounds!!! I wasn't sure so I checked the one at my house, and it agreed!! I am thrilled about this, of course, but am also worried about what the scale will say…

I use Fat Free sour cream to make a ranch dip. That with some salsa is GREAT on chicken taco salad.

I don't know about the bread, but I have a food scale and that helps a lot to make sure I am eating the recommended serving size. You can get a little one for about $5 or a digital one for around $20.

My dog Floyd would crack open pistachios and only eat the nut.
