Runtastic works for me, i love it!

Looking at your diary I would say you need to increse the amount of protein you are eating and watch the processed food as it is full of salt. Good luck

squat, and lunge, then squat some more and lunge some more... with a calorie deficit! This! I have always had big thighs until this time where I have been strength training - it makes all the difference...... that and reducing body fat .... can be done:)

you could get up really early in the morning and go for a walk or run when there is no-one else about. I go for runs really early 6.00 am and I have never seen anyone else about. Or like others have said body weight exercises don't require much space neither does working out with dumb bells. I am sure when you start…

What an amazing transformation, you look fab and should be really proud of yourself:)

What a fantastic achievement, you look so much younger, healthier and happier! Just shows that even though it is harder to lose weight as you get older , it CAN be done! C:drinker: ongratulations

Be prepared and take some healthy snacks to work with you. I am always hungriest in the morning and I like to eat smaller meals throughout the day to keep my blood sugar level. As others have said have protein with every meal to keep you fuller longer.

This!!

What a moving story! you need to do this for your son. You have done it before and you know you can do it again. You seem to have a really good support structure, too. Best of luck :flowerforyou:

i have just stopped taking using protein powder, as it is processed and I did find that it gave me a bad stomach - may be something to think about.

You look fabulous and happy. Great achievement, well done:)

I have just turned 50. It is harder to lose weight as you get older, but not impossible. My goal in fact was not to be fat and 50 and this has been achieved. I have gone from a UK size 14 to a UK size 6. Best of luck - you can do it!!

I am 50 today. It is harder to lose weight as you get older, but not impossible. My goal in fact was not to be fat and 50 and this has been achieved. I have gone from a UK size 14 to a UK size 6. Best of luck - you can do it!!

Welcome:) I am 49 and like you started piling on the pounds in my mid 40s - but I was determined not to be fat and 50. I looked into exercise and nutrition & discovered MFP. I have now lost 54 lbs and feel great! You can do it, logging calories, being honest with myself, weighing food ( as we all tend to overestimate…

Use it as you would with couscous and rice. With a salad or an accompaniment to meal rather than potatoes. It can taste a little bland so it is a good idea to cook it in a stock rather than just water and season it well. you can add spices and vegetables, like roast vegetables. Experiment and find what you like best. Enjoy

I have had my Mirena for 12 months, no weight gain, I have constantly lost weight eating healthy with exercise. It did take a few months to regulate, but now I absolutely love it .

Once every couple of weeks if I remember! Don't trust scales, anyway.

I drink mugs of green tea and peppermint tea all day - which is really a big mug of hot flavoured water. Yes, I consider it as part of my daily water intake.

LOL, do you live alone?! It could be the fruit - try to eat it in the morning. If you have it after a meal it can sit on the meal and ferment in your stomach causing the gases! any sort of fibrous fruit and veggies, like beans could cause such an effect. Good luck

I am 5 ft 3 inches, 49 years old and I have reached my goal of 118 with 20% BF. Now comes the hard part of maintaining!

You do get into getting up early. I get up at 5:30 am (I have a lie-in on a rest day) - sometimes I really don't feel like it , but once I get going I am glad I did. It does wake you up and puts a spring in your step - ready to face the day. Also, your workout it over and done with for the day. I would not have time after…

You can really see the difference. Great job, you look fantastic!

I am in the UK, Oldham, near Manchester:)

Hi, from Oldham:)

My experience with the Mirena has only been positive and I have lost 48lbs since having one fitted. It gave me the confidence to start exercising, which before felt impossible due to really long and incredibly heavy TOM, that seemed to be ruling my life. I think it is amazing. Like others have said maybe it doesn't suit…
