I'm feeling like the odd person here, but.... Monday: 2-3 mile run in the am, evening is Stronglifts and a mile walk. Tuesday: Racquetball for 1 hour, mile walk Repeat for Wednesday/Thursday, Friday/Saturday Sunday: just walking.

I love big dogs. Any big dog. But I somehow fell in love with a 50 pounder. Best estimate of Border Collie and Newfoundland mix. Skip!

If you have it set as Personalized (the standard option) it will give you a TDEE like number. The only difference is that at the end of the day it can jump one way or the other if you are less active than usual or more active than usual.
-
For me the difference is the 400 calories I can eat on my rest days.
-
If it makes you feel better, just gradually increase calories until you are at maintenance. Maybe add an extra 100 calories until you are no longer losing weight.
-
Good point! It is most helpful if you have an exercise routine in place, and you know that you will be getting X amount of hours of exercise.
-
Include your weekly average of exercise in the TDEE calculation. I was pretty iffy on that idea, but with my Fitbit measuring everything I do, it really was quite accurate. In my case I used 3 hours of exercise a week, and then used the 20% of TDEE (which actually is losing 2 pounds a week instead of one, but I do…

Basically Twins! Height: 5'3" SW: 175 (to 160 to 153) CW: 144 GW: 128 Eating around 1580 calories right now (just switched to TDEE method), training for a half marathon, lifting, and play racquetball on a regular basis. Been at 142-144 for about a year now. Tried to do the 1200 calorie diet and couldn't stop myself from…

Ugh, in college we had to do a fitness test and it involved your weight and BMI. I had just gained a freshman 30 and was overweight for the first time. Said my weight was the weight I went to college at because my current BMI was huge... The instructor called me out on my paper with a big "USE YOUR WEIGHT FOR THIS PROJECT"…

Make sure you have a sports bra that is sized by CUP size. I like Moving Comfort in either Fiona or Juno. They tend to be around $40. What works for me is wearing a cheap sports bra under my good one (you know like the Walmart ones that I couldn't even walk in), that way I can just change out the sweaty under one and don't…

Love running outside, whenever I force myself onto a treadmill (like on business trips) I can barely eeek out a 2 miler. Plus, my gps says that I'm running 10 minute miles outside while on the treadmill I can maybe do 12 minute miles. I prefer running with just my dog, but whenever I'm in training my husband joins so we…

Being head hunted on Southwest flights. They let you sit anywhere, no assigned seats. Last time I flew, somebody made eye contact and begged me to sit with them because I was "small and wouldn't squish them." I was so flattered that I sat with them.... my husband wasn't too pleased.

False. < Prime example of somebody who loves cardio (and half marathons), but hasn't lost a pound in a year. I know for a fact its not because I'm not doing enough cardio. Just awful at moderation of my food intake.

An oldy but a goody is the Redwall series.... depending on how you feel about talking animals.

- Start a lifting program. - Get my body fat percentage down to at least 24% - Take my enrolled agent exams (and pass them!)

Unfortunately, I don't have the Charge. Right now I have the Flex, but want to upgrade once the HR versions come out.

One thing about the Fitbit that I love, you can input your stride length to make distance more accurate for your steps. I'm 5'3" but usually walk with my husband who's 6'. I take longer strides then most! (Also, on the elliptical, my steps end up about half a mile short... it tends to get most of them)

True story. Personally, I like the thicker/sturdier jeans. So my skinnies don't stretch out the bum from sitting all day. Learned that the hard way.

I've missed both of you. You don't comment nearly enough. Also, I'm creeper. Sorry, not sorry.

341! I can't wait to be in the thousands...

I run with my dogs, and they are both sniffers. The way I get around it is by walking them for a good 10 minutes (let them get everything out of their system), and then jog at a slower pace until they are ready to focus. Running with my dogs makes me feel a lot safer. I've had people cross the street away from me, and I…

I really love working on cars.
-
"What are you going to school for?" Nope, just another 26 year old (with an accounting degree) who gets student discounts often. Also get, "Excuse me, miss? Do you need help?" Every time I try to work on my car. Every. Time.
-
I'm sorry! I flagged you trying to see if it would tell me who put the first flag.

I agree! I lost 35 pounds and am freezing now. Good news, I've moved to Texas where its warm. Bad news, I'm visiting NY in January.
-
I pull up pdf versions of books on my work computer. It looks like I'm concentrating on something official when I'm staring at my screen.... (One day I read for 6 hours)

Married, business man who likes to bike his commute.

Thanks for all the feedback! I'm looking at starting a program, just want to visually see everything first.
