Sounds creepy, be very careful. Is there a high school nearby that you can run the track instead? Be safe!!

I did this with my kids too. My youngest doesn't even like fast food or fried foods. They get used to it soon enough. When the got to their teens they may have eaten crap when I wasn't looking, but at home it was healthy foods.

Whatever works best for you. Here's what works for me. I can't exercise on a full stomach so I eat like half a banana in the morning and then go running. When I get back I eat breakfast.

Thank you for this information. I was hoping that I would be back to normal in three weeks or less, but it doesn't sound like it.

Haha. We always made fun of cheerleaders in high school, then my daughter became one!! Serves me right!

I love most veggies but my favorite lately has been broiled asparagus. Lightly coat the bottom of a cookie sheet with olive oil add cleaned asparagus cut in 1" pieces add with salt and pepper to taste broil for about 10 min. keep an eye on them so they don't burn sprinkle with balsamic vinegar enjoy

I don't record daily housekeeping, BUT if It takes me 4 hours to do laundry, clean out closets, vaccumm, dust, mop, etc, you bet I'm gonna record it

Absolutely you can do it. There is so much support here. I am 53 years old and just this year I started running for the first time in my life thanks to all the support and advice on this site. I have been on fad diets, diet pills. Everything worked until I stopped doing it. Then I would gain it all back plus more. MFP…

I don't know if it is true, but for me working out twice a day works better into my schedule. I only have time for 30 min. in the mornings so I do another 30 - 45 min. after work. So far it has not affected my weight loss.

Unfortunately, this is one of the many challenges we have when trying to lose weight. People around us are not supportive. I have a difficult situation at home too. My husband is all for my losing weight, but in the evenings here come the cookies and candy bars. He knows I can't resist but offers me some anyways:grumble: .…

I do it most often after stepping on the scale and seeing a weight loss. I don't know why. It should encourage me to keep going because it makes me so happy to see the numbers going down. I will try to make a habit of weighing in only once a month.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's (a type of Hypothyroidism) about 12 years ago. I felt this way for a long time and my TSH levels appeared normal. I convinced my MD to up my meds a little. I began taking B12 in liquid form and continued my multi vitamins. It helped a lot. Good luck

mean people suck, that's why my diary is private

I was not aware until recently that it could be public or private. I guess MFP sets it to private by default

It's delicious. I use it as a sandwich spread instead of mayo. Trader Joe's spicy red pepper is yummy

I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism/ Hashimoto's disease 12 years ago. Although it is more difficult to lose weight, it is not impossible. I comes off slower than most and goes up easier than most, but it can be done. As long as your meds are adjusted to your normal levels. Hang in there. Don't give up
