Anyone?

Maybe so about the calories in quinoa but I was thinking so far as healthy for your body... Quinoa is protein packed and for me, more easily digested.

Wear a bikini!

I use caulil for a mashed potato replacement too! Quinoa is pretty good replacement for rice too.

15 mins. Gotta start somewhere!!!

Ooh I was going to say NOTHING but then you had to go and say the D word...

^^^^ that. All of that.

I have an FT7, took it in the pool too. The problem is not the water proof-ness, it is that the chlorine and even salt water will keep the transmitter from getting the signal all the way to the watch for some reason. It is kind of strange.

That is awesome. Keep up the good work!

I have a naturopath appt this month. I'm bringing all my bloodwork (handy because I always ask for copies). I have a feeling they can up my levo all they want but my body is not using it quite right. I have had my t3 checked but think my doctor is just my well educated on the subject. Not quite sure. My energy level is…

I've never heard of a 6 months waiting period for levo... I started at 25mcg in October. I'm up to 75mcg. When my symptoms come back I request a blood draw and I'm always right about needing an increase so far. I'm familiar with a1c blood levels in diabetics being checked every 3-6 months because that is how long they take…

I'm glad you mentioned the gluten. I feel better just eating LESS of it. Haven't made the full switch but I don't think I'm making it up that I feel better. Another thing that has helped is not eating things with added sugar and once I stopped eating Splenda I realllly felt better. That probably has very little to do with…

I have hashimotos. My dad does as well. I've always thought I had it, since my teens. My labs always came back at the high range of "normal". Well I believe any TSH that isn't extremely close to 1, is abnormal. The lab companies disagreed so my doctor would never treat me because 4.5 wasn't bad enough. Finally the brain…

Hi, I'm 24 and weigh 178. I log in daily and communicate with people on my feed. Add me if you'd like! If you log in every day I can help you :)

It is important to not feel deprived. Also, you had healthier versions of those foods and you should be proud of that. Imagine your arteries if you had had fatty beef and full fat cream cheese!

I believe it is okay (and good for you even) to have a day where you dont eat perfectly. My personal thought is that your body gets used to the same foods and amount of calories and sometimes a big eating day can break the monotony and poke your metabolism and say "wake up!" Thats just my own opinion though. No idea if it…

You should be proud! Great job!
-
That's awesome! Good job. It sounds like you did what was best for you. :)

Haha so funny. So I guess yours will count as a cheat day?

Brownies with chocolate chips! I'm doin pretty well by not buying the bad stuff.
-
I did the same. I took in my pants with the sewing machine. I just don't wear my big tops any more. When I get to goal I will buy some more clothes. I get hand me downs from my mom because she is a few sizes smaller than me. When she loses weight I take the clothes that don't fit her any more. Even those are starting to…

Sounds tasty. Have you added it to the calculator yet? I'm wondering what the nutrition is like.
-
Absolutely! It is okay to go slow. Better than hurting yourself or going too hard to workout the next day. Take your time. You'll get there.
-
Oh yeah, Go Giants!!!

Enjoy your day. Make the smarter choices. Don't deprive yourself but this is not a free day to eat like someone with the munchies. If you want dessert, try a half portion. Stop if you're satisfied. Stay hydrated. Track everything. If it turns out you ate way too much or too poorly just do better the rest of the week. Your…

This upsets me....like really upsets me and makes shopping miserable!! Also the fact that i can wear a lovely fitted under the bust top or dress and look quite slim in top shots of photos and them wham......theres the lower half and nope im not that slim at all! [/quote] I totally agree. Then regular t-shirts will look…

I had to rest away the injury. Ice, stretching, massage all helped. The only way I can exercise is if I'm wearing my MBT running shoes. I can't walk, run, jump or stand for very long without them. Definitely worth the money although I got them on sale. The new versions aren't so ugly nor clunky nor heavy.

I have one bad day where my back hurts and I'm exhausted and have the general crappy feeling. It hurts to even stand on that day so i usually dont do anything. I find that exercising helps my cramps and I am not sure why. Maybe the release of tension or the exercise endorphins?
