  • So I'll give you my take on it but just know I'm not directing everything directly at you OP. This is just my general experience and recommendation for anyone searching phentermine or adipex on the boards. I've been battling my weight for years but I've never been consistent and every 3-4 for months or so I go off the…
  • Good job! I hope you rewarded yourself a little.
  • If it were me I would be sure to put a good workout in in the AM and also eat just a few hundred calories and maybe a snack depending on the time. Then I would go have a little bit of everything. Take your time eating. If not getting seconds will offend them then get seconds of the healthier items and nibble until they…
  • I didn't realize how innaccurate the MFP data was. Is it just because so many people input what they think an apple is? It is difficult for me to log foods because I don't eat a lot of stuff with a label to scan so I have to go in and log ingredients individually. There's a lot of room for error that way. I do have a food…
  • I log my food in MFP. I'll use today as an example... I try to keep around 1400 calories per day but today I ate 1690. I burned 500 working out (toning class and a treadmill walk after) So essentially I ate back some of my exercise calories but not all of them. On days where I don't exercise I don't eat as much.…
  • Yes, I've become much stronger. I went from barely being able to squat to a 35lb goblet squat. I started at 20lbs for tricep pull downs and now max out at 60. I couldn't do a kettle bell swing with rotation at all without cramping and now I can. I also wasn't able to even do glute bridges. I think it would help you help me…
  • It was with a tape/calipers and handheld monitor by my trainer at the gym. It was part of the Polar BodyAge Assessment and also did my VO2 Max etc.
  • I use it after switching from fitbit. I like it better. I requested they replace the strap, which also broke on me... We will see if they hold true. Add me if you want, I don't have a way to add via the app I'm using.
  • Feel free to add me. I can't add with the app I'm using. I try to do low carb paleo for the most part.
  • It is a form of body dysmorphia as well things such as vanity sizes, clothing that's meant to hide it, the general population getting bigger (and less likely to show such a discrepancy between everyday people out in public). I didn't think I got as big as I did until I saw photos. The mirror meant nothing. When I was a…
  • Thanks for the great tips. I also have those "I need chocolate now, like right now" cravings but I don't carry a protein bar in my purse! I am going to try that. I think that it's a good idea to try and limit craving food intake by filling up on healthier things first. Thanks. I think both of those combined will really…
  • Thank you for the input. I agree with logging every single thing. Only when I'm not in maintenance phase do I feel like I have less of these issues. One of the things I do half assed while I am in maintenance is not logging every day. I guess it is just not an option for me not to log. When I go off on these months of no…
  • Paleo is the only way I can lose weight. I was dealing with a stubborn weight problem and went to the doctor who suggested Paleo. I tried it and lost weight right away. Every time I eat something that isn't paleo, I gain weight and have trouble getting rid of it. I really suggest it. It's like I'm giving my body food that…

  • Trollololol!
  • They make me pass GAS! Lol but seriously, maybe you have a food allergy. Not all carbs are made equal. Maybe you have a gluten intolerance and you get tired due to stuff going on on the molecular level.
  • Catarina you're right. I vote that you're 26.
  • Burning2much I vote for 48??? Is that what your profile pic means?
  • Ooh do me! I should be tricky since my profile pic is a timeline of 6 years. I believe I look older in the bottom left and top right. The bottom right is the latest pic.
  • I agree! Also check out "the paleo diet" by Loren Cordaine. It jump started my lifestyle change to paleo. If you'd like to educate yourself on why certain foods are not good for you, look up "Forks over knives" and "king corn" on Netflix.
  • Weight loss: you're doing it right! Good job! Go you! Look. At my profile pic. The top left is 2006, top right is 2008, bottom left 2010 and bottom right is now. I've been a sparkpeople person since 2009. It takes a long time and a lot of effort to lose it. The slower you lose it the more likely it will stay off. Good job…
  • I'm totally NOT a dietician but would like to suggest you look in to spirulina for protein. And maybe double think the casein as it can raise inflammation.
  • Are you allowed to stray from the government's food pyramid in your recommendations?
  • My profile pic. Before getting fat in 2006, then 2008, 2010 and now!
  • They give you 4 tear away codes in the pamphlet but the codes are all the same a d it will truly only work once!!
  • I don't buy them because I can kill a whole box in a day. Love samoas and thin mints. I did find a paleo version which I'm going to try some time!
  • I used to love to put Doritos in my pb&js. Versatile little chips!
  • I ate and then was in pain. I'm not used to my thanksgiving meal not. Ding huge. My eyes are still bigger than my stomach. I went a few hundred over my goal That being said I still lost some weight. :)
  • We are having a paleo thanksgiving over at my parents' house. Should be a lot better for me than our regular fare. We will have crab stuffed mushrooms, Roasted Brussels sprouts, turkey, paleo pumpkin pie. We will have traditional food for the non paleo people but I'm excited to have enough paleo choices that I should stay…
  • Woah I feel like you got a ton of rude replies. If you don't do Paleo, keep your mouth shut because you aren't helping. Don't knock it til you try it. Paleo saved my life. We are having turkey, crab stuffed mushrooms, bacon deviled eggs, roasted Brussels sprouts, and Paleo pumpkin pie.
