Once upon a time, while eating a simple salad (iceberg lettuce/cucumber slices/bacon bits/lite italian), I desired a little more crunch to go with it. There just happened to be a bag of doritos hanging around so I ate them together. The dressing sort of mutes the dorito's own seasonings, enhancing that "nacho cheese" taste. The cucumbers add a nice coolness underneath.
For a quick snack, I just thickly slice up half a cucumber, sprinkle a bit of the good old bacon bits on top and drizzle the dressing before crumbling some doritos on top (or just adding a single chip to each slice).
Totally a favorite snack now!

It is! And it's possible to go light on the toppings without sacrificing taste.0

crunchy!
but A LOT of calories for some crunch0 -
Doesn't have to be! One chip to a slice, I usually have 6-8 slices, not too bad.0
