I wouldnt consider that a binge and wouldnt not worry about 3 pieces of pie...I realize its the feeling you have and the lack of control you have at that moment, but that is what it is...Lack OF CONTROL. I often have that problem especially when it comes to sweets and goodies. Once I start, I find it REALLY hard to stop.…

I heard (from a magazine) that this was all a publicity stunt to get higher ratings and that he had been seeing Molly all along during the 6 weeks and that she knew about this...I dont know if I believe that necessarily, but she did seem a bit "unemotional" when he told her he was letting her go. All she kept saying was,…

I was just watching The Tyra Show and this same question was asked, "How do you get rid of stretch marks?" and unfortunately the answer was not so great. There really is nothing to make them go away but they suggested self tanner and dermablend. Also going in the sun makes them more noticeable because stretch marks dont…

I think weekends are hard for many...they are for me! I say enjoy it!! If you work hard all week long why not have 2 days where you can live a little more freely. Dont go overboard, but enjoy!! Maybe you'll even work harder during the week for it!!!

I saw that on a Dr. Phil show about a young teenage girl who wanted to be "cool" in school and dressing way beyond her years. It's a good eye opener!! More teenage girls should see it!

My mom gave me these facts a long time ago, and I always go back to them every now and then for a "reality check"...I'm sure many of you have seen it before, but it's always nice to revisit The average actress and model is thinner than 95% of the female population and weighs 23% less than the average woman. If shop…

ive been through many of the same issues, i used to go to the gym twice a day and was so embarrassed to be seen that i joined another gym so people wouldnt realize i was going twice! With time my body got REALLY tired and i began hating working out...so from the advice of a good friend, I began taking one day off and made…

Try and incorporate a day off and ENJOY it...maybe get your nails done or your hair done. Or go to a movie! Do something that is a treat that you will look forward to. You dont need to work out that much that often, but i know how hard it is to stop. Do you feel guilty if you dont go or dont stay as long?

I dont mind at all...honestly it really just took a lot of time and lots of support. I have a wonderful mother, and when I saw how my illness was affecting her, I decided to change. And really that was it. It was a LONG process, but i had to be the one to make the change. And still I do not claim to be completely healthy,…

I have also suffered from anorexia and bulimia and have been healthy for a few years now. I feel I will always have an uncomfortable relationship with food...some days are good and others are bad but I do not resort to the extremes anymore. Many times eating disorders are not about food, but about control or lack of…

I agree! going backwards relieves the numbness. I try and do 10 min forward and 10 back and so on. i also find the more you use the elliptical the less your feet will feel numb.

My struggle with food is late night eating. I can go all day with eating well (small meals/snacks) and eat a good dinner. But as soon as it is 8 or 9pm and the tv goes on...I want to munch on whatever I can get my hands on. I have tried fruit, veggies, yogurt, cereal, etc...the healthy choices but i find that if i have one…

Sometimes you need to go by how you feel and look and not by the number...Keep positive thoughts and you will find success. I have found that since just cutting out junk food and eating healthier foods, I havent really lost anything, and I work out everyday, BUT i feel good!!! and i know that soon enough the weight…

I actually think that wii bowling is more fun than the real thing!!! BUT boxing is my favorite. If you go into the training mode and practice it gets to be very tiring! And when the balls are being thrown side to side, I try and get down low which I definitely feel in my legs!! Enjoy it!

I love the elliptical machines...I am normally a runner and enjoy running outside but here in ny with the COLD weather i have been forced to stay in at the gym and can not stand the treadmill for long distances!! So i use the elliptical, which is easy on your knees and makes me feel kind of like I am dancing! I…

Im sure you've heard it before...but try small meals throughout the day. (A meal meaning snack) If you eat every few hours, just a little meal or snack, it keeps your metabolism going so you are able to lose weight and not go in starvation mode.

I was curious to know which should come first...Cardio or Weights. Which is the most beneficial for losing weight yet increasing muscle and toning? AND how long do people suggest to do cardio for? I have heard anywhere from 20 to 60min. I used to be a "gung ho" cardio queen and could run 10miles a day...but I cant do it…
