Hello!! Fellow PCOS person here. Honestly, the only way I've found to successfully lose weight is to follow a low-carb plan. For me, personally, this falls around 20-30g per day - which is considered very low-carb. I wouldn't 'recommend' taking this up without talking to your doctor/consultant first though. The 'belly' is…

All mine are white/silver coloured now - I look at them as a reminder I should never get to the size I did!! I've not used any creams or anything on them, they do just fade with time :-))

Be careful with the foods you choose from the listings - if it's a UK food then we list the carbs and the fibre separately :-))

A lot of good advice already, all I can say is make sure everyone in your house is doing the same thing...consistency is vital! If she does something wrong try not to yell, for example if she nips too hard (which she will at that age), simply get up and walk away and stop the game - I found that works a lot better than a…

Yep, scales are defo the way to go - couldn't believe how much my 1 bowl of cereal used to weigh!! If it helps, I've just weighed 5tbs (heaped) of porridge oats (I don't have muesli) and that weighed almost 50g

It's such an awful conflict...it would be great to be in a world where by people who are genuinely suffering have the option to be assisted in ending their own life but unfortunately, as people have already said, there are too many people out there that would take advantage. My father suffered from Multiple System Atrophy…

Got out of the car in town and an almighty whiff of freshly made doughnuts and pastries came wafting over...I drooled a little as I walked past the shop - if I think really hard I can still smell them...mmmmmmmm...god damn they smelt good

Exactly this for me too!!

Hello! I'm 5'9", weighed in this morning at 152.2lbs!! Aiming for 130lbs but 126lbs is my ultimate goal - I'm currently in a UK size 12 and have a small frame, my wrists only just measure 5¼ inches :-)) Good luck everyone!!! x

I'm up to 21.36 miles (of walking) so far, a bit behind target so gonna have to knuckle down some more I think!! Hoping to get some swimming in so that will help too :-))

I would say bigger chunks and a little less time in there. Were you doing the cauliflower and the zucchini at the same time? If so the cauliflower will take longer, perhaps nuke that for a bit then add the zucchini in later? Feels weird typing zucchini as I'm from the UK and it's a courgette here lol!

I low-carb to help with my PCOS/IR and generally keep to under 20/30g of carbs per day. I would highly recommend reading the Atkins website/books if you're going to low-carb that low...there's so much info which, I feel, is both very helpful and vital!

Ham and 3 eggs with horseradish mayo for breakfast, salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber and a dressing) with cheese for lunch, chicken chargrill with lots of courgettes and peppers in a creamy tomato sauce for tea and 2 mini baby bels as a snack. Nicely full and won't eat again today :-)) eta - it's gone up to 1405 cals and…

I'm 5'9" and hovering around 155 - which I have been for aaaaaaages and it's becoming a little frustrating lol!! Anyhoo - looking to get to 130 but would love 126. I was 112 when I was 17/18 but I've since gained hips so don't think I'm getting back there now lol!! I've got a small frame :-))
-
Hokies...I'll give this a go. I'm not very co-ordinated though - this has potential of ending in tears

200 Level 1 calf raises...done!!

I don't play much anymore at all - although that could change when the panda's come! Horde on Moonglade EU :-))

OK, I'm in!!
-
OK, I may regret this but...I'M IN!!

I just buy the full fat stuff, it tastes so much better than the low fat/fat free stuff. But, realistically, if you don't like it then don't eat it

I'm 5'9" with a small frame (5.25" wrists) and I currently weigh 155lbs and still feel quite overweight - I'm aiming for 130lbs

Rose Anderson, Team GB, Basketball - yeah, I'm cool with that :-))

Unless there is some medical reason that you should not be eating either sugar, fruit or just watermelon then go right ahead and eat it. I can't think of any reason that it would 'stunt' your weight loss...unless, of course, you ate a swimming pool full of it...or you're following a very low-carb eating plan.
