I prefer first thing in the morning, but I normally have cereal first. I thought you needed to kick start your body by eating, otherwise your metabolism wouldn't start properly. I wish someone knew the full answer.

A bit of chocolate isn't gonna make a difference is it????
-
Thats fantastic. You've got to think of something really nice to reward yourself. A shopping spree for a new wardrobe??? A spa day???? Can I come????????? (only joking, what a fantastic job)

Whichever will motivate you most. If a photo of you before, makes you feel repulsed and sick, then stick it up. If your aim to be thin is more of an incentive stick that up.

Not totally cos its in everything, but I've quite chocolate for 9 weeks, and i LOVED chocolate. Funny thing is I'm not really missing it anymore, and my IBS isn't playing up anymore either.

I threw my scales in the bin today, they really depress me. I weight in at the doctors surgery, but I cant help but check. Last time I went my scales said I'd put on 3 lbs , i'd lost 2.5, then last week they said I'd lost a pound, but then before weigh in today they said i'd still only lost a pound, then I stood on them…

I've been advised by my nurse that you should have a snack around 10 and around 3, its good for your metabolism
-
She sounds like a good friend, but maybe she shouldn't have put it where everyone can see it

It doesn't matter how much I diet and exercise, I hardly ever lose anything off my thighs, just genetically like that. Crunches are good for stomach though, and lifting your legs while laying flat with your knees up. Hold your abs as you lift, they're brilliant

wow well done. You look fantastic

I tend to do workout as soon as I get up, so I wear pyjamas, but yes wear undies too. Then peel everything off and jump into the bath, bliss!

Check your scales, mine wouldn't move , and then I weighed in at the doctors and I'd lost 2 lb, so I stood my 7 yr old on the scales instead, and they still didn't move. BROKEN SCALES. I could've got really disheartened, good job I was due at the doctors.

I personally dont class the exercise calories as calories I can use. Surely that way the exercise has done you good and you'll lose more. If having a snack is more important then do the exercise for that. I agree though I dont think housework is an exercise, just a horrible necessity.

Nurse told me not to eat after 6 if you can help it. Even if you exercise after then.

43 just gone. Last year everything seems to have dropped.
-
I've never lost mine, stuck with it
-
Best way to lose is to stick to the 1200 wether you're exercising or not, that way you'll get the benefit of the exercise

I'm in North East, place called Billingham. Feel free to add me.

I think the wii fit is great fun. Hula hoop is hard work, and the weight balance ones are actually quite tough, really work your botom half

A drink of tea, especially herbal is water too. Your body does eventually get used to it, and you stop needing the loo every 5 minutes.

Hi I'm karen CW 168 GW in 3 is 154 I want to walk the dog everyday. Shes actually my sons dog and he walks her, but I figure its a nice gentle way to get me back into exercise. Wow that sounds about right, thought it was just me and my ginger freckly skin
-
completely missed it, how dumb am I/??
-
brilliant idea. Count me in
-
I get that too. I thought the abdomen part was in my imagination. I think maybe we just have very sensitive skin. If I go in the bath or shower I'm blotchy for hours afterwards.
-
Amen to that. You sound perfect for me patience

I heard that you have to eat something to make your metabolism start working. Then you burn fat faster. If you dont eat anything it'll take longer to work, cos your body needs kickstarting. Dont know it true or not!
