Sorry I misread her post obviously, but my statement is still true. Stick to the plan and be honest with yourself, weigh and measure your food, stay within your calorie plan and keep moving! One day at a time.

The trick is to stick with the plan and change your eating and activity routine, and be patient with yourself. Two weeks is not enough time to make much of a difference. When I stick to the plan, at best I will only lose a half a pound per week. Remember this is about making life changes, not a quick fix.

Do you have a healthy diet? Are you getting your vitamins, calcium, protein? Veggies? Fruit? Whole grain?
-
Congratulations. You look amazing!

I'm back at the gym, still walking, counting calories and beginning to see the scale inch downwards. Feeling encouraged!

Week two of working out again at a gym, watching what I eat...mostly anyways . It wasn't as hard to get back into it as I thought it would be. Slowly working with weights again, light weight with just three sets. I forgot how much I liked cardio endorphins! I have to keep reminding myself to take baby steps.

Can I say bull poop without, *kitten* replacing my words? Donkey in stead of *kitten*? How about *ss seriously are we not all adults on this site?

Death of a friend, disappointed in a relationship that ended, hating my job, feeling old, blah, blah, blah...gained 10 pounds and starting over. I know that might not sound like much, but I am 58 years old, 5'-2" tall. That is a size and a half! I'm back at the gym, back on my fitness pal and feeling pretty awesome. Life's…

I enjoy being single. I travel when I want, clean the dishes when I want, do what I want. If I had a partner again, I'm not sure I would even want to live with them. I like my own space. It's implied that if one is single that there is something wrong with them. It's really okay to be single, it's okay not to 'settle'…

I came across a huge dark green snake in the jungles of Honduras, scared the *kitten* out of me! Have you ever climbed a pyramid?

6.5 mile walk with intermittent hills...and the isn't over yet!

In October I was 2-3 pounds from my goal of 127-128, but someone broke heart and then with the holidays...I slowly got up to 144. That might not sound like a lot, but I am only 5'-2" tall. Today I saw 138, so I am motivated to log my calories and get my steps in!

I'm not trying to be rude, but you obviously did not become 189 pounds because you can't eat 1200 calories without feeling stuffed.
-
I gave up alcohol and I am being mindful of my sugar intake.

I mostly just drink water..but if I drink soda, like once or twice a year, I drink diet Coke. I am just not a big soda drinker.

Have you tried cannabis? Indica, not sativa.

What is your age, height, current weight and calorie counting method?

Congratulations on your 10 pound loss! My weight fluctuates about four pounds from day to day, but as long as the trend over all is down, you have nothing to worry about. Water weight, the weight of the matter in our intestines and possible weight from gaining muscles will cause this difference. Stick to the process, you…

I need to drop 10-12 pounds, I'm in! I've been logging in and weighing my food again for the past couple of weeks, heading out for a walk now.

40 years recovered! I began my cycle of eating disorders before the terms anorexia and bulimia were known to the general public. What started out as control over my own body quickly left me feeling ashamed and alone. I knew this was neurotic, but I couldn't stop. Fortunately for me this only last about three years. I…

I often joke about a revenge body, but in all honesty you have to do it for you, not for anyone but yourself. You'll feel more confident. I agree with moving closer to your job. Do you realize that every month you're spending 60 hours commuting? That's 720 hours a year! Which means you spend an entire month just sitting in…

You did not lose 29 pounds in your neck and face, you lost a little from every part of your body. Be proud of the 29 pounds that you have lost, don't be discouraged, you are doing a fantastic job!
-
Maybe just trying going for a walk or riding a bike.

To look good in my clothes and revenge...I want him to know what he missed out on.

Don't deny yourself the foods that you enjoy, just eat portions that fit into your calorie count...and a scale really helps. Oh yeah and if there is a dad in the picture, he can help with the meals unless his arms are both broken. ;-)

Good night sleep, what's that?
