Today I ran 1.5 miles (half uphill, then downhill). Then I did a killer bicep workout on Sweatflix. I’ve gained so much muscle with this app, it’s unbelievable. It’s only $10/month.

Hi 👋🏽I’m 37. Need to lose 40 pounds. Have been “trying” for about a year now. I know I really need to focus and stay consistent. Down 1 pound so far. 😳 39 more to go!!

I always stop by produce first. I grab a bag of green vegetables (greens, watercress, spring mix salad . . . yum), then a fruit (like an apple or orange). And we must not forget the carrots.

I started piano lessons when I was 8. I still play occasionally.

I started February of this year. Tracking food has helped me tremendously! You'll never realize how much you consume until you tally it. Adding calories burned during exercise has been tremdous also. It has truly helped me compare how much I eat vs how much I burn off. 12 pounds lost, but so much more gained!

Wow! With a BMI of 25, which is overweight, it is lower than 73% of females in my age group in the US. I have a higher BMI than 64% of females in my age group world wide. We can do better, America.

Try timing yourself in intervals. Run for 3 minutes, walk for 5. Then as you get better, try running for 5 minutes then walking for 2. Don't limit yourself. You can usually go for longer than you think. :)

Run up stairs for 30 minutes - will burn about 500 calories. Or . . . 45 minutes of Tae Bo to burn about 460 calories. (Running up stairs is my personal favorite)

Try a low fat protein like fish. You can get tilapia filets for about 90 calories. If you're hungry - eat. That's your body telling you it needs fuel.

My favorite - and as of right now my only - green smoothie consists of the following: 2 c baby spinach 1 banana 1 c mango 1/2 c dry oatmeal (cooked) 1 c water You taste more of the mango than anything else. The spinach and oats have the fiber, protein and carbs to get my day started. The vitamins are absolutely amazo
