Really the ball is in your court. You have to make the choices. Plan what you are going to eat b4 you eat it is the biggest rule of thumb for me. Truly I could keep eating but when I have eaten what I planned to and stop, initially I am still thinking I am hungry and could keep eating but if I just wait a few minutes, I…

I use it everyday in my smoothie. Here is a video link that will add to your knowledge. Just be sure you use organic, unprocessed oil IMHO. Trader Joe's is the cheapest, Kroger has it in the organic section and you can get it at health food stores. http://products.mercola.com/coconut-oil/

If you buy larger turnips they will be woody and bitter. Should be about 2 inches around. You can peel them and cook them like potatoes and mash them with butter and salt. You can also mix them with mashed potatoes for a different taste. I have only had them mashed.

Nutiva and Trader Joes are both good. Krogers sells the Spectrum (?) in the organic section. I don't like it in my coffee cause I like my coffee to taste like coffee but I put a glob in a little prep dish, a tlbsp, and microwave until liquifies for 30-60 sec. and add it to my protein shake. Give you lots of energy and…

That is fantastic. Biking is such a good exercise and is easy on your joints etc. I was riding every day in the warmer weather but now it is too cold. You did such an awesome job and that's the way to do it..a little at a time. Soon you will be getting a bike computer and shorts and joining a bike club LOL. Keep riding.

Blame it on Amazon.

From Answers.com There are some issues that arise from consumption of dog food, however: Pet foods may be made from animals in which the presence of prions, which cause encephalopathies such as BSE in cattle and variant CJD in humans, (Mad Cow Disease in human form) may be likely. According to the Association of American…

Lyme Disease has a lot of joint effects so it is no wonder you are having issues with you knees. I am sure you know what meds are effective for the pain but even with the meds you do not always get relief. Try something that does not require so much weight bearing. Bike riding is especially knee sparing so you might try…

Are you using a color protecting shampoo? I use Redkin Color Extend.

Everything changes when you have kidney disease so the doctor is the one who is best able to advise in this situation. More than likely he was talking about her electrolytes and blood chemistry (sodium, potassium, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine etc) which can be altered significantly in kidney disease. Even a healthy…

Here are some interesting points on the subject. The sixty minutes link does not show full screen but still makes the point. http://sixtyminutes.ninemsn.com.au/stories/8480654/sweet-poison From Prevention Magazine April 2012. Research suggest that diet drinks may backfire: The taste of something sweet without the calories…

Because MFP already gives you a 500 calorie deficit without exercise but as other posters have said the calories add to your bank (in your case 700) may not be accurate. It is just an estimate so would not recommend eating all of them back. The most accurate way to measure calories burned is with a heart rate monitor with…

Haahaaahaaa. Good one.

Yep, that would be me. Love the second picture.

I'd be more worried about the state of your oven if the juices were leaking etc. Can't see why it would be unsafe to eat. Enjoy.

Nurse here. You got me LMAO on that one. OMG. Turn someone over, fart, turn them back, fart.....

Organic all the way esp. for the soft skinned fruits and vegetables. You can wash the skin but some of the pesticide is absorbed into the meat of the food and can't be washed away. Organic fruits last longer in storage so that may offset some of the cost.

E. coli O157:H7 infection often causes severe, acute hemorrhagic diarrhea (although nonhemorrhagic diarrhea is also possible) and abdominal cramps. Usually little or no fever is present, and the illness resolves in five to 10 days. It can also be asymptomatic.[citation needed] Per Wikapedia:…

Depends on the variety of E.coli. If it is E. coli O157 it can lead to multiple organ failure requiring dialysis, respiratory failure and rehabilitation if you survive. It is not just found in meat. Also on greens, sprouts etc. Nothing to mess around with.

Based on your diaries that you have logged would say eat more and drink more water. Eating 600-700 calories is no where enough to maintain your bodily functions. Assume your diary is accurate and agree with what others have said that you need to weigh/measure and log consistently.
