I have also been both thin/fit and heavy, and I have never seen what you talk about. there was, at times, small amounts of jealousy from heavier woman when I was thin, but nothing compared to the open hate and disgust I get as a fat woman in todays society. It is disgusting to me how heavy set people are treated as a lower…

just post it as a light walk

My husband was in the Air Force for 13 years, just retired in Sept, and I am prior Army (like a million years ago). Feel free to add me, we all need all the support we can get!

for me it is there as an option. I do not normally eat them back, but if I have a special night out planned that involves food I will get in extra calorie burn so that I can eat them back that one day and not blow my progress out of the water.

I am 5ft 3in. I would like to weight in around 160, but mostly just to be a comfortable size 10. At 140 I was a size six, but had lost all my curves in my butt and hips, and I like my curves.

I think the point of everything in moderation is to not deprive yourself. It makes you less likely to overindulge if you do indulge every so often.

Now I have another reason to love laughing cow

Don't eat your exercise cals. Just aim for between 1200-1400, being sure to not fall below 1200. I eat right around 1250 every day, burn over 1000 most days, and when I hit complete entry I don't get the warning you get about starvation as long as my intake is over 1200.

I am doing something similar, only I do all my miles in the pool so 85 would be a bit much! Good luck!

My husband supports me and will eat whatever I cook without complaint, but fact is, he likes his beef and pork too. Often I make 2 similar meals in separate pots, so I can make him a full fat beef portion (say pasta sauce) and than I make mine low cal with chicken or turkey. If the foods are similar there is not too much…

I lost 75 pounds before leaving the UK for Alaska, and gained 50 back my first winter here. After that another 50 creeped on leaving me 25 pounds bigger than I was before I lost the weight the first time. That is why it is so important to make real changes in the way we live everyday, because a diet just does not work long…

For me it is my food journal, without it I would be lost. A pool, no other workout gets me excited like the pool, and laughing cow spreadable light cheese. I can use it to replace both the cheese and mayo on my sandwich, and each wedge is only 35 cals.

If you have been working out hard it it totally normal. When I joined the military I did not have one throughout basic and AIT due to the amount of PT we did.

Way to go!!!! You may have gained a few pounds, but you also gained more than a few years onto your life!!

I used to take hydroxycut years ago. My heart started fluttering. My Doctor said it is not uncommon for those pills to cause heart attacks and strokes. DO NOT TAKE THEM!

Your ideal is not necessarily your bodies ideal. If you are living healthy and your body is staying where it is, than this might be your healthy weight. Just food for thought.

As long as you are eating at least 1200 you should be fine. I plan all my meals for the whole day in the morning, that way if I am falling short I can add in some nuts, peanut butter, cheese, or something like that to push me over what I need. Even a glass of milk added to breakfast can help. I used to really struggle,…

Part of the reason I started this journey was because I ended up in the ER a few months ago with blurry vision due to extremely high BP. They had to keep me till it came down to be sure I did not have a stroke. My Aunt had a stroke at the age of 21. I have had my BP under control for a while now and have been off the…

It is important to eat a balanced diet, with the right kinds of carbs, and to keep it low cal
-
I keep a hand written food diary so all I log in here is the total cals for each meal. I do make sure to check everything I use, eat, or drink for calories though. Some spice mixes do an a cal or 2.

IMO the arm is just way underused and you worked it too hard. Take 2 or 3 days off until the pain eases, and than take it slower the next time and ease back into it. To help with the pain now you can try rubs like tiger balm, or try icing it, 20 minutes on and 20 off.

Depends on how hard you are working. When you work out you break down muscle, it needs time to repair. But that does not mean you have to be a slug on your days off! I take Saturday and Sunday off of the gym each week (most weeks), but I don't just sit home. I take my kids hiking, or for a bike ride, or ice skating,…

At both Costco and Walmart (and other places to I am sure) you can get whole grain bread thins, they are only 100 cal. So with those I can make a small low cal sandwich.

I want to get a corset piercing down my back and thread it with black and pink ribbon and do a photo shoot.
-
got it, thanks.

First thing I noticed was that you are skipping breakfast, or only having milk with a little whey. You need food/protein/fuel through out your day, and you should always start out with a strong breakfast, and try to make it within an hour of getting up.

Don't look at the bmi, especially if you are close or over 30. I am also 5 ft 3 in, and at 140 (which according to the bmi chart is still over weight) I am a size 6 and have next to no curves. If I got down to 110 I would be skeletal. A good plan rather than focusing on that final number is to set a goal size (I want to be…

I thought you were just supposed to eat at least 1200 a day, not net that. I usually net around 300 after my workouts are added in.
-
Yes, and the saddest part is he is a foot taller than me.

I eat between 1200-1300 a day most days, but I have a lot more weight to lose than you. You have to eat to keep yourself fueled, and you will find that once you input a hard workout it will allow you extra calories for that day if you want/need them.
