Free food at work is crazy tempting! My old job did donut Fridays. Since I was on keto I passed on them every single week but knowing there was a free perk in the corner sucked. It wasn't that I was craving the donuts. My carb cravings were long gone by then, I just wanted a free snack. It's weird to explain. On the plus…

Found the herb mix :) https://www.litehousefoods.com/products/instantly-fresh-salad-herb-blend I've gone through many bottles of these, the name just wasn't coming to me! There's also a 'poultry' blend and an 'Italian' blend.

There's a bottle of dried herbs you can find in the produce section that has dehydrated red onion, garlic and chives (can't remember the brand but it's a "salad" blend). I like to add a bit of this into it and then when lunch comes around its all hydrated and delicious :)

Figleaves.com is my boob savior. They're even a UK site so shipping will be speedy. Each bra has reviews and ratings to help you out.

Pinterest helped me a lot! Just search for low carb or keto *insert food here*.

Not in 4 but I apparently did 54lbs in 5 months 2 years ago today (thanks for telling me Timehop!) So I guess I did 252-198. I'm 172cm (just under 5'8") and it was done on keto (with a deficit obviously!) and no exercise because I was lazy. I've since added a bunch of walking because it's harder to eat at a deficit the…

Don't forget the reason for the very low carb amount is to avoid that insulin spike. If you cram all 20-50g of your carbs in 1 sitting, you might get thrown out of ketosis. Plug your info into the keto calculator to see what your fat/protein/carb ratios should be and work from there. It's easier to plan foods when you know…

I am aware, however I eat enough protein to maintain muscle but not enough to have gluconeogenisis occur. I don't know why my way of eating seems to bite your *kitten* so hard. It works, it's easy, athletes do it, doctors are starting to recommend it, the only problem is dealing with people like you who try to find fault…

I said dark veggies, not cans of corn. I watch my net carbs. I get more nutrients with less sugar in veggies. Sugar causes insulin spikes and cravings, so I avoid it.
-
I eat zero sugar. I have to say yes, I'm pretty proud of that. I get my fibre in dark veggies.

Almonds Macadamia nuts Babybels because they're so adorable Kale chips Parmesan chips Parsnip chips Quest bars

As for not enjoying stuff with family, my family as well as some friends have seen how well it's worked out for me and now eat as I do so I'm not missing out on anything. My life doesn't revolve around food.

I eat maybe 5 raspberries if they're on sale but other than that, nope. No fruit in 17+ months. (I have no idea how to directly reply, boards confuse me)

I have 5lbs to go before I hit the 100 number but I did it with a ketogenic diet, 95lbs gone in just over a year eating at a high fat/low carb calorie deficit. I've started to include exercise (roller blading!) because the weight hasn't budged in awhile and I fell back on tracking. I'm not even upset at the stall, I went…

I don't see anything wrong with it. Lots of people already eat that way, myself included (however cream and cheese has stayed with me because yum) so this 21 day plan is my 520ish day plan and going strong. Half the "do not eat" list is common sense but people get scared when they think of no sugar and then make up all…

Keto :) It's the only thing I've been able to do to have a calorie deficit while not being hungry the whole time. I haven't even worked out yet. Well, not totally true, I've been on probably 6 walks in 9 months...but those probably don't count...

I do chia pudding: 2 tablespoons (or 3 if you like thicker) chia seeds half cup heavy whipping cream half cup unsweetened almond milk a few raspberries A few drops stevia About half tablespoon of sugar free flavoured syrups (Salted Caramel gets used the most) Shake it up. OMNOMLUNCH

I lost all my weight just giving up sugar. I don't fear it, it just makes me fat. I'd rather not be fat.
-
That's the same for every diet out there though. I've heard so many times "be careful, or you're going to gain that back!" Mostly from people with failed Weight Watchers attempts, and failed low fat diets. If you go back to old habits, of course the weight is going to creep up again. I've failed myself, 3 different times…

I like it :) Getting to eat fried eggs and bacon without feeling guilty and actually losing weight feels pretty dang fantastic. I've lost my weight so far without any exercise. I highly recommend it!

I used to love bagels and cake and all that stuff. So being on a keto diet sucked for about a week, then the cravings go away. Every now and then I'll want a poutine but not enough to want to go track one down. On keto, the cravings aren't as strong as they used to be. I had crap will power. I would tell myself "I'll just…

I think it's all the low fat foods giving you a hard time, not the artificial sweeteners. I've lost the weight drinking diet pepsi and sugar free Monster and eating sugar free candies all this time. Low fat foods replace fat with carbs, carbs aren't satisfying, will leave you hungry, and will make you more likely to eat…

I wish I took a picture. A giant pork chop covered in marble cheese. And leftovers from yesterday which was shredded roast beef/mushroom/onion/green pepper stirfry thing. All with a bit of Jalapeno ranch dressing because YUM.

Meh, I find it pretty dang sustainable and easy to follow. I lost 54 pounds in 5 months just on keto alone. I don't feel like I'm missing out on carby foods or depriving myself because I don't crave that stuff anymore. When people ask me what I'm doing to lose the weight, their first response is "Oh, I couldn't do that!"…

Sometimes it takes awhile. I started at a 36HH, now a 34HH. So in 54 pounds I barely went down at all. I think as I get smaller, the numbers may start shrinking but so far they seem to be sticking around and the weight is coming off my hips/belly/butt instead. My favourite site is Figleaves for hard to fit sizes but I wait…

Water water wateeeerrrrrr. When I stall, I'm not drinking enough water. If your pee is yellow, keep that water train going. Ketones get flushed away, encourage that flushing!

I always just did the most narrow part. I also measure my hips, but for waist it was easier for me to get it right every time, measuring the narrowest part. I'm 5'8", 196lbs with a 31" waist.

I usually have almonds on hand and some babybel cheese. I also make chia pudding with a cup of unsweetened coconut or almond milk, 3ish tablespoons chia seeds (ground up has a better texture for me) add some cinnamon and vanilla stevia.

My lady-land seems to be the same.

I actually stopped weighing and tracking food the last month. I think I can visualize pretty good by now. If I start stalling, I'll pick it up again, but I want to be able to eat and not have to count everything. I don't think I'd be able to stick to eating better if I have to constantly track everything.
