Good advice! Don't run the day before your race. carb load and drink lots of water the day before.

I live in Puckett,Miss. I would love to go biking around the reservoir. Have you ever done it? Add me if you want.:flowerforyou:

Excellent post! Thank you!

Try swimming. It work your legs and arms and abs. Also water aerobics. Maybe even water running. I've heard about injured runners going to water running until their injury heals. And they stayed in shape doing it.

You are definitely right!!

Make sure you tell the people what happened last time. Don't get up for a while and drink lots of the juices they have to offer.

You must see the giant Redwood trees in Northern California! They are spectacular! Google them. And then go wine tasting in Napa Valley. But make sure you have a designated driver. It's so beautiful there!

Take your temperature and see if you have a fever to rule out the flu. Drink a big glass of water right now and have a rest day. Eat something really healthy, at least 300 calories worth and see if that makes you feel better. Then proceed to eat 3 more healthy meals today. Hope you feel better!

Cool running's C25K is the program I used 3 years ago.. It is vital you stick with the plan. Don't do more even if you feel you can. Especially if you have a knee problem now. Maybe even do a longer warm up. And learn ALL the runners stretches and do them religiously AFTER you run with out fail. Do not stretch cold…

YES!!! I changed my foot strike and now I have NO more shin splints! I was plagued with them for years. I also have a lighter more natural shoe. I love running sooooo much more now!

My goodness! Look at you! Fantastic!

Me! I have one of my pictures here,my daughter took it of me and I though it looked like I was walking. It was a 5k race and my fastest time ever.

Glock is a good choice. Maybe Glock 19. It's what I use. You can drop it in water and it'll still fire. I've seen it done. It's smaller and easier to conceal. No safety to worry about in an emergency. It shoots 9mm so ammo would be cheaper.

I have been baking my own bread for over 10 years. I don't buy bread anymore. I go to my recipes and create a new one. Add every ingredient and figure out how many slices I can get out of it. That will be your serving. Have fun baking!

Butter all the way! Margarine is one of the things that clog your arteries.

You need to give it more time. Your muscles do retain water when working out to such a hard degree. And make sure you are eating enough protein to help rebuild those muscles.

I drink coffee before I go on my runs in the morning. It's a great pick me up as has many health benefits. :drinker:

Wow! You have worked really hard!

That is just plain mean!

A total freaky movie, The Skeleton Key.

This is what a paramedic told a guy when they called an ambulance and he had heat exhaustion. I'd have to look up why.
