Fruit is not a bad thing. Yes it has sugar but the fruit has fiber and all kinds of vitamins you need to stay healthy. I love to eat a bowl of blueberries with a sliced up peach. Keep the skin on. Sometime I have a piece of dark chocolate. And sometime I have just a spoonful of ice cream or eat one small cookie. Stay away…

I'm pair shaped and am losing inches all over. I am a runner also. I run 3 to 4 times a week and do weight and body resistant circuit training. Very intense workouts. I also ride my bike a few times a week.

Today I could NOT eat all my exercise calories back. I was way too full. Do what feels right. If you are famished eat but eat healthy. If full, stop. But I think tricking your body is a good idea. Up calories one day, lower them another another. Like on a rest day.

Awesome work! I did couch to 5k two years ago. And now I'm a running addict. I've done 6, 5k's and one half marathon, one Warrior Dash and the Coosa River Challenge (an adventure race) Signing up for races is a great way to stay motivated! I'm going to do another 5k on July 14th. Luck with yours!

Muscle does not weigh more than fat. Pound for pound it weighs the same it just takes up less room. The mass is less more dense. But when you are rebuilding those muscles they retain some fluids to make repairs. So you do have a little gain during body building. But it goes away. More muscle will increases your metabolism…

I am Very active like you and run 3 to 5 miles and circuit train 6 days a week. I also used to eat 1200 before exercise. After losing 17 pounds reached a plateau for two months. I Then increased my calories to around 1600 a day before exercise and started losing again right away....I figured I needed more fuel for my work…

I was enjoying being in my new bathing suit and not being embarrassed because of the all the fat rolls. My sweet youngest daughter took this of me. My other daughter's BF saw it and thought I was my youngest. :happy:

Definitely go and meet him. Scope him out but don't act jealous. Let the dude know in a very subtle way that she is hands off. Also maybe give your wife more attention and tell her all kinds of wonderful mushy stuff. Go do more fun stuff with her. Take her out on a date. Do the dishes. Etc, etc,etc.

I have the same problem. Big thighs. I have big calves also. I do a lot of running and just recently I've started doing Jillian Michael's Killer Buns and Thighs. It's awesome! Give it a try.

Sounds high. I use a Garmin Forerunner 305 with a heart rate monitor. I LOVE it! It track miles, calories,time. I can use it on my bike also.
