Awesome! One meal a day definitelty works! Most people believe they need to eat 6 small meals a day to be healthy but doing that constantly spikes your insulin levels. People don't really need as much food as what is preached. Throw in a good 2 day fast for the healing effects of autophogy and cleansing every now and then.…

I agree! Doctors have very little training in nutrition and fitness.
-
Yup! You will be surprised at how much you eat or Don't eat when you start logging your food.

Store bought sangria. Sickly sweet and totally gross!

And don't forget the walking planks. With straight arms move from side to side keeping perfect form. or to make a plank more challenging after a minute or more of holding a straight arm plank do a series of push ups till you fatigue sets in. I happen to really like planks though.

I find running outside is easier. once the weather clears up for you, you'll probably agree. It's way less boring as well. I started running 3 years ago. I started out with the couch-to-5k plan. I now run half marathons and want to start training for a full this year. Here is the link to couch-to-5k.…

I did not say you can not find them,I said " they are really hard to find" and to answer you question "what makes me say that", well it was all the extensive research done on the "all" the foods in the shakes. Not just the maca root and bilberries. And the extensive analyzing of the nutrients in the foods. Shakeology works…

I really love shakeology. The ingredients are what sold me. I was very skeptical for a long time. There is absolutely nothing else like it. The foods that it's made from are amazingly good for and really hard to find in your grocery stores. For example Maca root and bilberries. I tried to find bilberries one time and no…

It would be a great benefit to your running to improve your core strength by doing back and abdominal exercises. Also if you add arm strengthening exercises it will help give you that over all toned look. Pushups and dips are great for the arms. As we age we do lose bone density so the lifting and resistance training is a…

My profile picture shows the before and after. I started out running and then went to beachbody workouts.T25 Alpha,Beta and Gamma being the main ones. Watching what I eat, most of the time And drinking shakeology. Which give you incredible nutrition!

You do need help. You Have to start getting nutrients in your body. Eat lean meats and LOTS of vegetables. Eat breakfast. Eggs and whole wheat toast. Have a snack. I would recommend you get low sodium V-8 juice. You need the vitamins. Eat a lunch FULL of vegetables and a lean meat like chicken. Then another snack. Greek…

Good luck to you. Just remember building lean muscle requires eating lean protein. Adding a good quality protein powder helps with that. My trainer has me on Gold Standard whey isolate. 24 grams a serving. It's a lot of protein but it really helps.
-
Also have a high carb day once or twice a week with the ratios you are doing now. I know a LOT of body builders who follow this way of bulking up and they look awesome!!
-
I would highly recommend that you readjust your ratios to 50%protein,30%carbs,20% fat.Especially if you are trying to bulk up. You want muscle? Right? You need that extra protein for your muscles. When you change your ratios you will also have less trouble with your body fat going up.
-
What are your ratios like? carbs/pro/fat? In percents
-
Obviously this does not include you but there are a lot of people (me included) that have stubborn belly fat to get rid of and cutting out foods high in sugar will help. Just because you don't need this advise doesn't mean it's wrong. It sure is helping me! I can't wait to show my before and after pictures when I'm where I…

Dude,I did not say fruit makes you fat. I said "limiting It helps with fat loss".
-
Yes it does matter and just ignore the mockers. I limit my fruit intake to fruit like blueberries, strawberries and grapefruit. It really helps with fat loss! Have you heard the phrase "abs are made in the kitchen"? I also eat mostly Paleo. No grains and very few processed foods. Lot's of meat and vegetables.

It's a great program! I'm on the beta phase and am planning on buying Gamma this week. You burn about 350 per work out depending on how much you weigh. It's so thorough! It works every part of your body! I'm sure you'll love it!
-
It's a great program! I'm on 2nd week of Beta now.

Your guy should have just laughed in the doctors face. He looks great! I don't take a lot of what doctors say seriously and they often don't know a lot about fitness and nutrition. Not all are like this but many that I have come across are. I had one doctor prescribe iron drops for my infant son only because I was nursing…

Keep the cardio going and start doing pushups, dips and pull ups. Keep doing that and you wont jiggle when you wave. I'm 46 and that's what I do and I think I have very nice arms. I do want more muscle though and am working on it.
