Don't bother blanching them. I do this every year. Snap them and de string them put them in double layer quart freezer bags to prevent freezer burn and enjoy for a long time!

My arms are really starting to shape up nicely. I think it depends on the person. I always added my wine into my calorie allowance and I always lost just fine. But now for the past 3 weeks I can't have any because of the medication I am taking and I have not lost a thing. Go figure. :drinker:

I bike a little. To the gym and back or to the park where I like to run (3 miles there and back). And sometimes I'll go out and ride with my daughter for about 10 to 15 miles.

You should try and squeeze in some exercise to build your muscles. Stronger muscles increase your metabolism. Instead of walking try running instead. It burns more calories in less time. You'll just have to work at it. I have scoliosis and do lots of full sit ups. Keep a weight on your feet,knees up and grunt loud!! If you can't quite get to your knees take your hands and grip the leg close to the knee and give yourself an assist by pulling. also momentum helps a lot and don't forget the grunting!
